The Big 12 can issue all the statements it wants. Nobody cares what they say. The game was chock full of flukes, missed calls, etc. There were a bunch of remarkable things about the game…so much that nothing in particular is remarkable. Certainly not a tackle on a tipped ball that was bang bang, and clearly not intentional.

I totally agree with you. Every offensive and defensive play has a certain probability attached to it. ASU’s RB probably can’t pick up that blitz. Our’s can. ASU did a bunch of stuff that shouldn’t work, but did. You can it a 40% play almost half the time. The whole game had things happen that shouldn’t including 2 missed FG, one blocked FG. A punt return for a TD. A punt that should have been blocked but extended a drive with a penalty. A RB pass. The entire game was statistically improbable, but happened b/c ASU had nothing to lose.
