6'6 315; think Coach Baker can get another Purdue DL in the rotation? Previously at Independence CC, one of the Last Chance U schools, and Auburn.

Ok. Even Mel needs to can it with the transfer talk. If Spencer Rattler is starting for the Saints on a Monday night, Quinn can get drafted in a later round this April and be just fine to develop behind a veteran. Looking at the league right now, there aren't a lot of teams with an aging starting QB..except for the Jets, Dallas, Detroit, and the Rams. Arizona, Tennessee, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Miami, KC could probably use a good young 3rd QB though. Giants..need a miracle, worst place for a rookie to step in.

@CJ Vogel Not specific to Petitbon, but would Texas consider a more experienced center for next season? Granted transfers on the O-line aren't a big interest, but is a center with seniority like Majors a good 1 year bridge for the younger upcoming line or is Coach Flood 100% good with who he has now? Same thoughts for a backup QB. I know it's not a consideration, but would a solid SEC grad transfer be a good "break in case of emergency"? Trey Owens is great but is his one year a strong foundation if needed for an SEC game or two or even second half start? *knocks on every tree and wood table nearby*

Not a transfer but Dallas Wilson is expected to flip his commitment to Florida

14 tackles, 1 TFL, 1 FR.. older rotational players are still a need. Bill Norton had 11, but still added value to the rotation I'm talking about Texas taking other schools' good players, not what we lose. Bama lost a couple on the D-line like Jehiem Oatis but gained Kelby Collins from Florida.

IF Hunter doesn't work, Payne at 6'4 315 had a decent year for Bama. Also, Texas can't let all of the other SEC schools poach all of the players from each other.

Johntay has a lot to work on. If no SEC or even a BIG12 school, especially OU who is WR depleted, has him at the top of their lists it say a lot. UT RGV is preparing for their first football season in the fall though.

Kicked him out? Man, you only get kicked out if you're a problem. It was just a bigger challenge to get playing time ahead of him, so you chose to try somewhere else.

That was fast. Weigman to UH. Florida State and Utah also picked up new QB transfers

👀 Don't know where he's at culture-wise for Sark but was a former track speedster

Another former Longhorn to the portal. Hope S'Maje finds a new start somewhere to get his career back on track

Back in the portal for Kirkland. My guess would be a Florida school

This was what I saw as Johntay's issue. Feeling like he was deserving of playing time based on his skill level, but not mentally handling the adversity properly. Which I fully understand as I've dealt with that since I left the military and jobs over the past 14+ years.

Read Bevo was denied entry to the game due to "lack of space". https://www.statesman.com/story/sports/college/longhorns/football/2024/12/05/texas-vs-georgia-bevo-uga-mascots-sec-championship-game/76741511007/

Juan Davis also put his name in the portal last year, then chose to stay and has worked hard for this team. Would like to see Bledsoe maybe reconsider as experienced DL is a need for 2025 and put in the work.

Flipping backwards, doing cartwheels, and flying across that Aggie goal line again next year

Saw his post too, that was Tannehill. It may be an unknown tell, a subconscious stance for their bodies to be balanced and ready to drop back.

Jaxson Dart leaving, Kiffin takes another USC QB (despite Ole Miss having several other transfer QBs)

I'd have to guess Ryan Day's future at OSU is at risk after last night, that could lead to recruitment losses 🤞🏽
  23. _everyoneshere
Don't like this though. Can't quite hear what Mukuba was saying but not a great look for him after a dominating win and that beautiful smackdown hit he made. Buuut I mean, Texas did stomp on the entire field all game 🤘🏽
  24. _everyoneshere
Post game Ryan Day interview sounded like a defeated man..not just on the field either. Game or fight. Also, not having an idea about what exactly happened when asked about staff that may have been left bloody. HC should be in the middle dragging players away by the face mask if need be. Next UNC coach? D2? JUCO? CFB on Fox also claiming cops used pepper spray.
  25. _everyoneshere
I swear it looked like Coach Day wasn't in the middle to push his players off the field. Also OSU LB #33 ripped the UM flag off the pole
