    Whew thankfully someone said it... Not worried at all about playing Levitt next year. Playmaker? Sure, but we've faced better playmakers this year already.

    5'7'' coming off a season ending injury?! I'm not getting paid 8 figures like Sark does but even I don't think that would be a good idea. I get getting him for depth/experience along with an RB1 type of guy, but still...

    Especially when it comes to QBs when it's Dia's or KJ's time and everyone else after that. QB is a developmental position more than any other. They have to play to get better.

    Exactly. As long as Reed is there we're good. Remember that this was our down year while it was their best year in more than a decade. A lot of guys that made that team what it is are leaving. Same thing with OU. Maybe Mateer is actually injured but I'll take a guess and say that that "Gamer" s#*t doesn't work in the SEC, unless you're a Caleb Williams type of guy which Mateer will never be, not even in a million years.

    There's a difference between using the money allocated to getting IOL in the portal and having that money already there sitting and just getting to use more in the portal cause you went below budget in HS recruiting. What bobby was saying is that with the latest NIL offers at HS guys they weren't tapping into the portal budget they already have in plan.

    @Jeff Howe Saw people say that Arch and Goosby, and even better their families, are close, and to me it would translate to be unlikely that Goosby will miss both Arch's last year and his brother's first year. Any truth to it? Obviously could still decide to go but barring injury I could see him be a top 5 top 10 pick next year if he stays.

    Oregon keeps piling up 5 star WRs while that last WR that got drafted in the first round from Oregon was back in 1972. Steven got stuffed in a locker again by Oregon, this time even by a legacy recruit. Our problem with these guys is not the NIL we offer. If I had to guess it’s either Texas telling them that we’re not guaranteeing play time or these 5 star WR don’t like seeing Texas go out in the portal every year to get guys instead of playing the ones we have on roster. Or maybe they just don’t like our WR coach. I don’t know why but there SHOULDN’T be any reason to not get one of these elite type of guys once every 2 years.

    Doubt we're not going P4 for the IOL. Guys like this will probably be last resort.

    Well... What's the plan now at receiver? Go after Lott? Is oregon really gonna get both of them while having Moore? I imagine we'll go in the portal looking for the usual guy with production at the P4 level that's gonna be in a contract year next year.

    Multiple sites saying we're out of the picture for CHJ. Our NIL offer was probably used to drive up the price with Oregon and/or OSU.
