Sorsby is a guy I could see have a meteoric rise and be picked really really high next year... Kiffin is getting by far the best QB currently in the portal if what Bobby is saying is true. @LSU next year is gonna be a tough game and enviroment but I do like LSU getting Sorsby rather than Kiffin getting another year with Chambliss. I will say that he seemed to struggle more the better the opponent which is not usually a good sign but he's also playing for Cincinnati... playcalling and the players around him are gonna be A LOT better next year.

Bobby litterally said not long ago that Texas is gonna spend between 6 and 8 million in the portal, an average of 500+k if we take 15 guys, which is the high end on what anyone is gonna spend in the portal. We're not blowing almost half of the budget on a WR.

There's very few programs willing to spend what Texas is gonna spend for OL in the portal. It's like the #1 priority.

This is not the NFL where we're trading away 1st round picks for players... Going all in just means that we're not leaving anything up to chance. For example, if Robertson wants to leave cause we're not guarateeing he's gonna start at center or guard next year then Texas isn't stopping him. It also means that we're doing our best to retain the players we want to retain (Even through the NFL draft) and that we're not remaining stationary in areas that could improve (Defensive Coordinator). There's no downside to "going all in". Last year we took chances on players/coaches and that can't be a thing in a year where Arch and Colin are leaving after. As a last point: we sure aren't lacking in talent at QB behind but Arch is a little different. Not just from a talent perspective but from a "marketing" (if we want to call it that) perspective.
