@Jeff Howe Saw people say that Arch and Goosby, and even better their families, are close, and to me it would translate to be unlikely that Goosby will miss both Arch's last year and his brother's first year. Any truth to it? Obviously could still decide to go but barring injury I could see him be a top 5 top 10 pick next year if he stays.

Oregon keeps piling up 5 star WRs while that last WR that got drafted in the first round from Oregon was back in 1972. Steven got stuffed in a locker again by Oregon, this time even by a legacy recruit. Our problem with these guys is not the NIL we offer. If I had to guess it’s either Texas telling them that we’re not guaranteeing play time or these 5 star WR don’t like seeing Texas go out in the portal every year to get guys instead of playing the ones we have on roster. Or maybe they just don’t like our WR coach. I don’t know why but there SHOULDN’T be any reason to not get one of these elite type of guys once every 2 years.

Doubt we're not going P4 for the IOL. Guys like this will probably be last resort.

If OSU and UGA win their conference championship game we'll have played both the winner of the SEC and B10, who are by far the best conferences in CFB. I think that should mean something. If the committee doesn't push Bama out in a situation where they get handled by UGA then why do we even play these conference championship games? Are they gonna become just exhibition games?

Don't think we're getting in but these are the scenarios to even have a small chance at getting selected. Cancel all future blue blood OOC games, they only hinder your chances at getting a 10-2 or better record.

If we can afford him i'd love to have him obviously, but to me there's more pressing matters to address. I'd be more than fine if we get a P4 guy with production that is "underrated" and that is in a contract year. It seems to be working out well for Texas.

I like Coleman, but as an SEC school dealing with revenue share you have to ask yourself if spending 3/4 million on WR is the best move IMO. I think if he enters he'll go to B10 school who's willing to have a WR room of him and a bunch of JAGs.

Even not being close enough to it we can't act like he didn't made it out to be a huge deal when it was clear as day he was gonna leave. We act like him tweeting from his dog's twitter account about going to the SEC championship isn't out of touch? He never thought stringing along an entire fanbase wasn't gonna backfire? Be straightforward about your decision and that's it, go out classy. In his tweet announcing his departure he's litterally throwing the AD under the bus.
