  1. We know our situation.. will be sweating out the Bond and Williams situations this week. Georgia apparently lost one of their Rbs Branson Robinson to a knee injury, possible MCL sprain. Here's their current situation: https://www.dawgnation.com/football/kirby-smart-georgia-football-injury-situation-following/6WZXGQG46ZFLZIBR3Z5B53U5K4/
  2. Do we want osu or oregon to win? Both are thorns in our side in recruiting though osu more long term. Don’t see osu losing another game if they win today so I’m slightly pulling for the ducks.
  3. Wynn for me. Just the depth at DT and DE makes this an obvious choice to me. then again, why not both🤷
  4. https://www.espn.com/womens-college-basketball/story/_/id/41684352/sources-usc-juju-watkins-nike-reach-lucrative-extension this is why Chavez will sign with Texas.
  5. Unfortunately only Charlie would do something that dumb 😬
  6. Obviously we are all thinking OU this week but I found this fun analysis of a few Arch plays from the last game. Future is bright!

  7. I’m with you on this. I can just see Sark licking his chops to go up quickly. We go up 14 in this game early it will be difficult for OU to come back
  8. So you are sark and have a choice to receive the ball or defer.. what do you do? OU is clearly picking defense first if they win the toss. Trying to remember the Michigan game sark took the ball first right? The venom in the OU D would be vastly higher if we did the same here.
  9. I understand where you are coming from but I am looking at this from a cost standpoint. You have x millions to spend on a team. There is a breaking point where you overpay for talent. Do you pay 2x or 3 x for a Stewart than a Sharma or Charles? Is it better to have 5 guys at DT or 3 if one is Stewart? What are you losing with the guy coming in early. Let’s say he can contribute early like Alex January. Well now make him 1 year younger is he really the same as a 2025 vs 2026 guy? I don’t know the raw nil dollars being thrown around but there is a point that you can not overpay to get him.
  10. True but I’m pretty sure deboer was over his guys this week with all the rat traps everywhere and they still lost. It’s on our guys to show up. and yes ou sucks anytime.
  11. Even if he is truly amazing you aren’t going to get much value in a reclassified freshmen. D line is not like wr where a skinny athletic kid can dominate, and even that is a rarity. I’d rather throw money at a guy like Autry.
  12. https://www.espn.com/college-sports/football/recruiting/playerrankings/_/view/rn300/sort/rank/class/2023 with Tennessee losing and Nico looking pedestrian I tried to remember the services that had him rated over Arch. I thought it was ESPN but it was actually on3. However the ESPN was actually wayyyy worse with the top 3 qbs as 2 already transferred guys and a third about to be transfer from our friends in Norman. Only worse take would be Mike Farrells Arch Smith take.
  13. For all the talk about how we got an easy sec draw it seems each of the teams we play appear to be getting better week by week besides Georgia. This season will be a grind.
  14. Is this like the Luicci top 44 recruits? Best in the biz.
  15. Looks like you had a 5 year old college decals to splatter on a map
  16. Not completely wrong. Hope Ant gets wind of these comments and uses them as motivation
  17. I think he said let him rush the passer. And he would excel at that too for us.
  18. Did manny diaz just send Mack to retirement?
  19. What does that say about him that he can’t beat those two dudes
  20. Maybe. But I have a feeling we will see a lot of jr declarations and the usual portal out for lack of PT this year. Plus the expanded roster. Could make for a juicy portal cycle.
  21. Have to think Perkins is a portal candidate. Wonder if we kick the tires for him in the offseason if that is the case.
  22. I remember listening to an NFL analysis of pre-snap motion recently, and a commenter said that Peyton Manning didn't like using at all as he liked to make all of the changes himself at the line. Not that Arch is that nearly that advanced in his understanding but I wonder if some of his Manning "training" has been through that type of philosophy.
