So let me ask this question? 1. Does it matter if you have a top 5 class with what you can get in the portal? Do you need 4 WR in a class?, 6 OL, 3 LB? All of these guys cost some amount of money. Could you take 2 top WR and use some of the UIL money to spend on a DL guy? And if you need another WR get one in the portal? The same for all positions. I could be way off.

IMO I look at the new world of recruiting in two ways. The first is what is the best option for players in the portal, which means position wise. Second, what is must have in recruiting for high school players. Best gets in the portal WR DB TE LB QB RB Toughest gets in the portal DL Edge OT Easier gets in high school recruiting WR top 100 OL top 150 TE top 150 LB top 100 QB top 100 RB top 100 DB at least one top CB and safety Toughest gets for high school recruiting DL Edge DB more than 2 each position This is for Texas. As I look at my list it seems you can go out and get a really good DB in the portal ,so maybe not a huge worry if you miss on a guy? But you can't miss on a HS DL or Edge. Texas must spend more resources on interior DL. That means, all the Staff has to be involved, especially Steve Sarkisian. Can't be out spent or out worked by Oregon, LSU or OSU. IMO

With the longhorn Network we got a chance to see Texas volleyball, baseball, swimming, track, basketball and other sports. Will we the Texas fans be able to see all of the University of Texas volleyball games? Basketball games? Baseball games? If so, how would that be broken down live or tape delayed on the SEC network? ESPN? Was that part of the SEC meetings? Or will we miss X number of games from the non football sports?

I made a few phone calls to some friends in Hawaii and Japan and it looks like there is a sumo wrestler ready to play nose tackle for texas. His name is Ima Tua Biga, he 6'0 550lbs. How does IMG make money as a school? The cost to go there is crazy, but most of their football and basketball kids must be on scholarship? It's only for sports, so I'm guessing it makes it money with all the golf, tennis, baseball and volleyball kids? Still, with all the coaching required, seems they have to spend a lot of money with it's infrastructure to make it worth while for a kid to go there. How do they recruit kids?

After watching the draft, Quinn would have been a first round draft pick at quarterback this year. In my opinion he would have been selected ahead of Bo Nick's in the 1st round? Very odd there were no quarterbacks selected between the first round and the fifth round. So the NFL teams jumped on the quarterbacks early and often in the first round. Thank goodness he's coming back for a third year, but he would have been a first rounder this year for sure. My opinion anyway.

Not sure he slid, Buff. always was the team that wanted him. The move by Buff to move down one spot to the 2nd round was a dick move IMO. Unless they talked with his agent and will still pay him 1st round money, just sucks on their part.

Why would Carolina move up one spot into the 1st round? Cost them more money and they still would have the same player second round.

Buffalo just screwed AD Mitchell by moving down. They will pick him 1st player 2nd round. Disappointing for this kid.
