  1. People write this like it's insightful or different. File this away in your little brains: COACHES (even the ones you like) ARE MERCENARIES. THEY DON'T GIVE A RIP ABOUT THE SCHOOLS.
  2. Heck of a run, Mack. Time to go say sweet nothings on TV for a bit.
  3. And the school/admin made the change. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/42623049/north-carolina-fires-football-coach-mack-brown
  4. Dumb question. Coaches are fired multiple times in their careers, even the good ones. It's the nature of the job.
  5. I understand that, but it's not on the coach to leave. It's on the school/admin to make the change. I realize that Mack left a sour taste in the mouths of many Longhorns. Me included. However, I think this "Mack is selfish" stuff has outgrown the reality it was originally founded in, and it's silly.
  6. Why should he leave? I'm not leaving my job if they want to overpay me to keep on doing what I'm doing.
  7. I became a fan when I decided to attend. I made that decision in late spring 1997. Raised in Houston by LSU parents and was the first person in my family (grandparents, aunts, uncles) to NOT attend LSU. I still love LSU. Great people. And my parents moved to HTX after grad school and were immediately turned off by all the weirdo Aggies talking about "tradition" as if they were the only school in the world with traditions. My mom tells a story that one of her first weeks in Houston a lady in Sunday School bragged about standing up for the whole football game. My mom said something like "We do too. So do Ole Miss and Bama. We just don't act like that special." So I've been an Aggie-hater since birth in 1979.
  8. 2024 Sark has forgotten about passes beyond the LOS. So has Sark, a former gunslinger QB, forgotten that forward passes can go forward? Or is his QB so limited that he feels the need to constantly throw it E/W and behind the LOS?

  10. Sark needs to pull Ewers and get serious about winning this game. #hookem
  11. This team - and Sark - has a tendency to play with its food. It's not all gas no brakes.
  12. OK maybe we've stopped playing with our food now.
  13. Sorrell in coverage on a 4th down? smh

  15. No, you're not.
  16. Mike Leach is rolling over in his grave.
  17. Are we having fun yet, Bobby?!? What a wild ride college football is. Constant recruiting. Portal. NIL. Rivalries. Smack talk. And, of course, the actual games!
  18. All possibilities will be examined. It's too early to speculate on specific players.

  20. Onward and upward, Schloss.
  21. You got confused. Lincoln Riley is God's gift to brisket.
