  1. I always took his comments “Texas won’t run the SEC” to be an administrative comment. Texas didn’t dominate the Big 12 on the football field, but Texas definitely called the shots in a lot of ways, and they were paid more (with Oklahoma) than their counterparts. Do you see an SEC where Texas gets a bigger piece of the pie than all the other SEC teams? Do you see Texas being the biggest influence to how the SEC is ran? Do you see Texas running of programs like Alabama, LSU, Arkansas, Florida like Texas did with Nebraska, Colorado, A&M, and Missouri?
  2. Did another school recruit Stone to the portal to pay him $800,000? And did OU pony up to keep him?
  3. Is there any where reported that he got what he was asking for. He might have returned after seeing there wasn’t a market with the price he was hoping for for him. He didn’t enter the portal on bad terms with OU.
  4. It’s a thought. Nothing based on knowledge or inside intel.
  5. Another thought popped into my head. Nagy as GM has to make decisions based upon what him and his team believe a players value is. I can see Nagy having a conversation with Stone and/or his representation to say “Enter the portal to see what your true value is” and then we can go from there. Makes sense from both sides. Nagy and OU haven’t closed the door on his return to Oklahoma. I’m rooting for him to leave and turn into an all American at Oklahoma State.
  6. Will Jonah sign an MLB contract guaranteed at over 700 million someday?
  7. I actually thought about it this morning, and I could see him returning unless another school is willing to pay over 500,000 for unproven production.
  8. The site I was member on had Okoye turning out to be better than Simmons. It’s only been one year, so I guess the jury is still out. Just saying that to be nice.
  9. Jeff Howe comes aboard and Texas baseball gets rolling. Coincidence? Me thinketh not.
  10. He hasn’t played football yet.
  11. I could see a future in the WWE…possibly the next Dwayne Johnson
  12. Interesting decision, does he want nostalgia or does he want to be right
  13. He’ll pick Texas.
  14. Might’ve been with his girl, and she could be the jealous type. I don’t know. You gotta ask Nico.
  15. Had to get the bag first. NFL is the dream. Realistically the top 10 QBs in the class of 2023 will not all be NFL starters or even draft picks. Gotta get the multi million when you can to buy your house, car, and set some money aside. This is going to be the most money a lot of really good players make in their lives.
  16. Been preparing for it all his life. There is no muggle blood in this one.
  17. I actually kind of buy the system talk. There had to be more going on behind the scenes. Possibly Tennessee wanting to lower the amount of money they said they would pay him. He had a lot of hype, but he didn’t live up to the hype. Also the Veer and Shoot hasn’t prepared a QB for a lucrative career in the NFL. RGIII is the only one with any success. I’m not sure if UCLA will help him in that regard.
  18. Committed or carrying his body out for funeral services? Times are wild. 🍿
  19. You think the guys at Texas all got Red Bull deal and make the same amount of money as Arch? Do you think everyone in the Edge room makes as much as Collin Simmons? Do you think Aaron Butler is getting paid the same as Ryan Wingo? And then do you think any of those guys are upset about that?
  20. President Bush's reaction to winning the Cold War
  21. I wonder what the market would be for Jeremiah Smith if he jumped in? 12 mil?
  22. Is this the 3rd year in a row they have gotten an OLineman from Stanford in the portal?
  23. He might retire from football and start investing the money he has already made.
