  1. To make matters worse, their LBs and Safeties are not oversized either. Iowa State and TCU got away with undersized DLs by playing 240 lbs LBs and 210 lbs Safeties who majored in run support. I’m not seeing that with Arizona State.
  2. Hats off to Norton and Gbenda who made big plays in limited snaps.
  3. That’s the kind of reasoning that caused Sam Bowie to be drafted ahead of Michael Jordan 😂
  4. With good reason. The Georgia DL was pimp slapping our OL all game long a Wisner didn’t break any tackles or make any defender miss. Why would we run the ball when Quinn threw for 358 yards and our run game averaged 1 yard per carry?
  5. How did our run game perform in the red zone against Georgia?
  6. SEC imposed an 85 ship limit for the 2025 season. There will eventually be a 105 limit, but it’s not in effect yet.
  7. Let’s see who returns and who leaves first. We should have room for 8-10 in the portal if necessary. But if Taafe returns, we don’t need a safety with Taafe, D Williams, McDonald, JRR and several other young talented players. If Moore returns, we are set at DE. Michael Terry gives us big back depth to go with Baxter, Gibson and Clark.
  8. Maybe we will, just not for a guy who has played football for one year as a rotational player. High upside but you have to allocate money wisely. Napier doesn’t care because he has to assume this is his last year. He plays the same schedule in 2025 that he played this year.
  9. Maybe we can or have reallocated Hilson money to J Terry or Marshall.
  10. And Tom Herman went 8-4 in his last season. After turning the UNC program around in his second stint, Mack reverted to his 2010-2013 Texas form. They both ended the same way.
  11. Texas designated Gilbert as an off campus recruiter earlier in the year. I could be wrong, but I don’t think the PK recruits off campus.
  12. I like the idea of two 6’2” corners (Chester and Phillips) with a 6’ nickel (Littleton), along with a couple of 6’3” safeties
  13. Except that Blackwell does not have a Texas offer yet. That says that we are still in the running for higher on the board DLs. If Blackwell ever gets an offer from us, you will be correct.
  14. Each big game for Texas has a critical stat that will determine the outcome of the game. Against Michigan, it was pass protection ( QB pressures). Against Georgia, it was QBR. Against Vanderbilt, it was time of possession. Against aTm, it will be turnovers. If we win the turnover battle, we win the game. Without Moss, the aTm offense is simply OU with a better OL.
  15. Like you say, the league should impose the same fines and suspension on officials for phantom holding calls
  16. I was right unfortunately. Quinn is scared of contact, scared he is not reading the defense, scared of throwing a pick. Sark should have found that out by putting Quinn in live action in practice this week.
  17. 1. Quinn plays well 2. DBs win their share of 50/50 balls 3. Front six makes Beck uncomfortable 4. Auburn finds his swing
  18. Is that a picture of your daddy when he was released from prison? I’d hate to see your momma.😂
  19. You are correct, Hudson Card was the QB that day. Nonetheless, that is exactly who Quinn looked like in the first Quarter of the OU game.
  20. Imagine Quinn playing that way against Georgia instead of a crippled OU team.
  21. You understate how bad Quinn played. We had 13 yards in the first quarter despite wide open receivers all over the field. He had a good 2nd quarter but his second half was subpar. He looked like he had regressed to 2022. Georgia will be an entirely different game than BlowU.
  22. Perhaps. If so, he better let it rip in practice this week. I would rather find out whether he can go in practice than in the first half against Georgia.
