  1. Maybe we can or have reallocated Hilson money to J Terry or Marshall.
  2. And Tom Herman went 8-4 in his last season. After turning the UNC program around in his second stint, Mack reverted to his 2010-2013 Texas form. They both ended the same way.
  3. Texas designated Gilbert as an off campus recruiter earlier in the year. I could be wrong, but I don’t think the PK recruits off campus.
  4. I like the idea of two 6’2” corners (Chester and Phillips) with a 6’ nickel (Littleton), along with a couple of 6’3” safeties
  5. Except that Blackwell does not have a Texas offer yet. That says that we are still in the running for higher on the board DLs. If Blackwell ever gets an offer from us, you will be correct.
  6. Each big game for Texas has a critical stat that will determine the outcome of the game. Against Michigan, it was pass protection ( QB pressures). Against Georgia, it was QBR. Against Vanderbilt, it was time of possession. Against aTm, it will be turnovers. If we win the turnover battle, we win the game. Without Moss, the aTm offense is simply OU with a better OL.
  7. Like you say, the league should impose the same fines and suspension on officials for phantom holding calls
  8. I was right unfortunately. Quinn is scared of contact, scared he is not reading the defense, scared of throwing a pick. Sark should have found that out by putting Quinn in live action in practice this week.
  9. 1. Quinn plays well 2. DBs win their share of 50/50 balls 3. Front six makes Beck uncomfortable 4. Auburn finds his swing
  10. Is that a picture of your daddy when he was released from prison? I’d hate to see your momma.😂
  11. You are correct, Hudson Card was the QB that day. Nonetheless, that is exactly who Quinn looked like in the first Quarter of the OU game.
  12. Imagine Quinn playing that way against Georgia instead of a crippled OU team.
  13. You understate how bad Quinn played. We had 13 yards in the first quarter despite wide open receivers all over the field. He had a good 2nd quarter but his second half was subpar. He looked like he had regressed to 2022. Georgia will be an entirely different game than BlowU.
  14. Perhaps. If so, he better let it rip in practice this week. I would rather find out whether he can go in practice than in the first half against Georgia.
  15. Quinn looked afraid to get hit in the OU game coming off his injury. He looked more like he did in the Tech game in 2022 than the Michigan game. As the game went on, he seemed to process faster and he did run the keeper for a TD. But if he starts the Georgia game like he did the OU game, we are looking at an L. It has occurred to me that maybe Sark needs to expose Quinn to a little contact in practice this week. I assume that the defense would have sense enough not to blast Quinn and a little contact might get him back in the groove. Probably a dumb idea but I like it.
  16. The last comment wasn’t directed at you; it was intended for NFL executives. Sorry if I was unclear.
  17. Not a reason to eliminate the most iconic play in football. The pregame show is called “The Kickoff Show” for a reason; it’s not called “The IR Show”. If you can’t handle the kickoff, play Madden instead.
  18. According to Vogel, McDonald played 47 snaps against OU; JJR only played 18 snaps. It looks like the Raptor’s snaps will go to McDonald.
  19. 6 of 7 on third and short for the game. Weak sauce.
  20. Defense allowed MSU 6 of 7 on 3rd down conversions. That’s where the blame lies.
  21. PK allowed MSU to play the time of possession games, just like he did twice in losses to Washington.
  22. The run defense gave up 20 minutes time of possession in the first half and almost 20 first downs overall. D grade
