  1. Who wants to play football with a leper?
  2. Did Cody Johnson have a big role for Mack?
  3. Glad Sark doesn’t have that attitude
  4. Walker likely tops out this year as a special teamer. He fumbled on air in practice one, is listed a 6th string and is getting no mention from Sark. Simon is a good back, but he is a bit of a tweener. He is not as fast as Brown/Smothers/Cooper and not as big as Cooper/Terry. He just doesn’t have a niche barring catastrophic injuries at RB.
  5. It would be a surprise. Terry just moved from WR in the Spring and is currently listed as the 4th RB on the depth chart (or 5 if you count the Niblett boutique position). That said, Terry is getting a lot of mention for a 4th string back from Sark and on the SID photo releases. Terry might not be a challenge to the top three backs, but he could be carving out his own role. Terry was mentioned as catching several passes in the second team Pony Package (20 personnel). He is perfect for that role. At 230 pounds, he can block for the smaller backs and in pass protection. He can run inside as a counter when paired with Coleman/Brown. As a former WR, Terry has an advantage when matched against LBs in the pass game. Terry could also be the answer in short yardage and red zone situational football. He is 230 pounds. Cooper is the next biggest at 210 pounds and he is also unproven. Sark seems to go out of his way to mention that Terry had some “nice runs” every chance he gets. If Terry can burst into the scene like Niblett did last year, that would create huge problems for opposing defenses.
  6. I haven’t done a reread of Dragonlance in 30+ years, but I loved the series. I’ve used the handle since the old 360 board days.
  7. LSU site says no announcement on 7-29-26; it’s just his birthday and he’s just having fun with it the pants pissers
  8. Spencer is in there somewhere and may be a starter with Spencer as an overhang LB
  9. Because if he is going to Indiana (the long time leader) there is no reason to wait. They are the hometown favorite. If you are going out of state, it’s easier to do it right before you leave. It also give Texas more time to run down the leader.
  10. I guess that the longer this goes on, the better for Texas.
  11. Additionally, the Big10 would never accept what Tom Brady called a glorified community college and the SEC doesn’t need a rodeo clown like Cody Campbell.
  12. Assuming we get Meredith and Greedy James is a corner, who is the 3rd corner? Is it Jackson, Blaylock, Sherrod or someone else?
  13. Exactly. Sark seems to pair a bigger slot that can block with a speedy z (Worthy, Wingo) on one side and a tall 50/50 ball winner (Mitchell, Livingstone, Coleman) on the other. Seems like Moore is big enough to block for Royal and explosive enough to run RPOs like Deandre Moore.
  14. Looks like a bigger Emmett Mosley. He would pair well with Royal and Thrower on the outside for the screen/RPO game.
  15. I’ll believe that Jonah is a factor when he actually gets in the gridiron and does anything. Until then, he’s a poor man’s Colton Vasek.
  16. I generally just watch college football now. I watched most every Cowboy game from Roger Stauback until Prescott’s leg injury; I finally figured out that Jerry Jones was the real problem. I quit watching the NBA when the rules changed creating the clear out offense and the players just became chumps. No more Jordan, Bird, Magic, Barkley, Bad Boys of Detroit and in with the 7’ 3 point shooters and all-star game level defense. Then we started losing international games. Baseball lost me when they banned Rose and Roger Clemmons. Aside from college football, the powers that be have destroyed sports, and they are working hard to do it to college football. AND GET OFF MY YARD!!! 😁
  17. I agree; Sikorski is depth this year but may be a starter in 2027. He has plenty of eligibility left. We still do need a starting Guard and Tackle/Guard. Bennet may be the Tackle/Guard, maybe not. A 4th OL would not hurt my feelings.
  18. Playing a LB with 4 tackles over experience and production is a joke
  19. Just take one bell cow back (Baugh) who can handle 25 carries per game and a speed/receiver back (Brown, Durham) who gets about 10-14 touches (carries/receptions). They have different roles. The bell cow back saves wear and tear by not getting 300+ carries and the speed/receiver gets to show explosive plays while not getting beat up on inside zone runs.
