  1. Thank you for the update. What an amazing story of resilience & perseverance. It’s hard to believe it’s been a year; it feels like only a few months ago. Prayers that things continue to improve!
  2. That is awesome - thank you for sharing! He was so much fun to watch; you knew we always had a chance as long as he was leading the team. Every time I watch when someone posts the end of the game - it makes me giddy 😊 Hook ‘em
  3. My favorite moment also - it was an amazing experience - we were on the 30 yd line right in front of where Young ran it in, about 10 rows up. And the USC fans around us were great too.
  4. So glad we are not in the Big XII anymore - I truly appreciate that the SEC calls out bad officiating & does something about it.
  5. I miscalculated. The $250 is what the buyer pays (I was thinking it was my total but didn’t account for fees). So I would sell them for $450 for both tickets - that gives us both a bargain from using Seat Geek.
  6. We could have gotten better seats on the West side but we sat here last year and we were in the shade shortly after the game started. With expected temps in the 90s I prefer shade!
  7. That would help!! Checked on Seat Geek - they are recommending pricing at $250 so I’ll offer here for $250 (they are selling for $280+ in the same section)
  8. Thank you!! I hope so too. He has a torn meniscus. Appreciate the well wishes!!
  9. We have 4 tickets total (brother in law gets 2 of them) - husband & I are going
  10. My brother-in-law has an injury & cannot make it to the game. Thought I would try here before going to Seat Geek. I’ve been a season ticket holder since I graduated in 1995.
  11. Despite all the problems, our team still had a chance to come back until late in the game. They kept fighting & never gave up. Arch tried to make things happen after being hit on almost every down.
  12. I hope you do - it is the best football atmosphere - totally unique! It is the one game I never miss every year. And the state fair surrounding us is just a bonus.
  13. I’ve enjoyed reading an opposing fans thoughts on such a highly anticipated game. Kudos to you for seeking engagement with the opposition and listening to the best Texas podcast, OTF. Your respect for other teams, while supporting Ohio State is refreshing. Looking forward to a great game with y’all 🤘
  14. Looking forward to the Dallas date!!
  15. From a good friend who is a big supporter & active alumnus of SFA, they were thrilled to join the UT system (which offered around $100,000,000, while A&M offered around $30,000,000). They did not want A&M to purchase them for fear they would take away some of their agriculture programs.
  16. Thanks for sharing - always enjoy their interviews. Loved the part where he talked about going to Vanderbilt - mom prioritizing academics!
  17. Welcome - it’s a great community!
  18. There is mutual respect with OU - they are competitive even when they are not at their best. And, it’s the best game day atmosphere ever. Until we renewed the game I was able to pretty much ignore A&M fans; this year I was reminded how absolutely annoying they can be. I about the lack of equal footing - the financial, academic & record puts us a step above them, making them resent us that much more, as we look down on them.
  19. Thanks for sharing - a good explanation of the shenanigans going on. I predicate some schools are going to have a PR issue when they are unable to provide what they promised players. We may lose some recruits in the short term, but maintaining a reputation of being honest will have long term benefits.
  20. Prayers to all of those impacted by the flooding 🙏
  21. There is nothing like TX - OU. The one game I never miss every year 🤘
  22. Love the guys representing the Longhorns in the NFL!
  23. Need a Touchdown Club of Dallas so we can get an annual visit from Sarkisian!
