Man don’t be hesitant to post. More basketball discussion doesn’t hurt. My opinion is Texas can always offer top dollar for coaches. With basketball I don’t see a splash hire out there now. One that will actually come. Just my opinion though. Others disagree.

I always tell Aggies thanks for the coach when they say something to me. Two things have been true since my dad took me to my first Longhorn game. Football is king and baseball is good. Baseball is supported. It always has been. Not the same for basketball. Basketball has always been entertainment when football ends.

We could discuss your sabbatical on some boat that you jumped off of right before the basketball season started a few years back. That’s probably worse.

You think Nate Oats leaves a rabid fan base that travels, solid recruiting, huge NIL and a completely supportive donor base to come here. They will match any raise to keep him. So he leaves everything he has to come to virtually no fan base, a budgeted NIL a fractured donor base to come here? And have to face Alabama every year. You’re thinking Texas can just throw money and people come running. That’s football not basketball.

He’s an extremely knowledgeable poster. He does volleyball game threads here on his own. Nobody asks him to do that. He started the game thread here probably because he thought there would not be one. Really good guy.

They literally waited until he was completely healthy to play him. They just don’t have that point guard to run the offense. I think RT finally said I am going with Larry. He was in the game for most of the half.

Only problem I had was the Pope three attempt. It was off balance and had no chance of going in.

He was awesome tonight. He has been consistently good all year.

Absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about. They fought and I am proud of the kids. Unfortunately this is where the A&M loss hurts.

The kid that did the murder was on the team. Not talking about Brandon Miller. Miller brought the gun. The shooter was on the team. Go back and take a look. I believe he was kicked off of the team before that happened, but I could be wrong about that. Again, the trigger man was on the roster at one point.

The reasoning behind that is he’s a one on one player. However, he has turned out to be a pleasant surprise. He talks to players and works hard. You can’t expect him to score thirty every night though.

Probably not. In his head he’s probably saying I am doing that because we have no point guard and no bigs.

Difference is that the Alabama situation involved the murder of somebody by someone that was on the team at one point.

Lack of a point guard is killing them.

His frustration has been noticeable since the fifteen minute mark of the first half.

I am at the game too. They didn’t want to get into the game at the start. They did around the six minute mark. Fell quiet as Texas fell apart at the end.

He took off like a rocket on one possession and then just fell down.

I ignore and move on. I thought about staying home but I wanted to support them up close. Haven’t had a chance to meet Mack though.

Mark decided he was going to shoot as soon as he got the ball. Still had time left after the shot and he is walking with his head down. Texas doesn’t have a point guard. Which means Johnson, Kaluma and Mark have to go one on one.
