    You did read here that Gerry was told by UT that Texas moved on from Garrison. If they go after this guy, it would tell me he is an asset to the locker room and not a problem.

    Program players are over. It’s a free agency market now. Everything you pointed out is true. This guy sits or does little during the year, then he is most likely back in the portal next year. Seeing the players leaving Duke and Alabama says a lot. A guy on a final four team, may look at the current roster returning and hit the portal because he sees a better chance to win the following year at another school.

    He was coming off two shoulder surgeries, before he played a minute for Texas. Then he literally got hurt in the first conference game. That’s really playing with fire. He did show a good back to the basket game, but does he have a face to the basket game? I don’t remember him blocking a lot of shots. I really like Toppin. If Texas only gets this kid from UCLA I don’t think that’s enough to have the type of season they are hoping to have.

    I had planned to go to some of Codie’s games but he got hurt before I could get to one.

    Would love another Mack surprise commitment. We probably only get one a year of those unfortunately.

    Waiting on Garrison. Once you start seeing multiple big men getting Texas offers it will tell you how they feel about landing him. They can run a three guard lineup without the small forward. They have the length to defend that. I am not going to know what Pryor can do until I see it. Codie at best is probably not going to be a double digit scorer or rebounder next year. Onyema is staying. Have no idea if he just wants to be her or if they see something in him. He had the same exit meeting everyone else had. And he’s still here.
