  1. Georgia played Texas twice and Clemson and Tennessee once each, so while Georgia didn't play more CFP teams, it played more games against CFP teams.
  2. BTW, we are now 358th in non-conference SOS according to Pomeroy. That is out of 364 teams. Nice going, CDC. Yes, you brought in the defending national champs as part of a home and home deal, but then you added seven total garbage opponents. I said when the non-conference schedule was posted that it was filled with crappy games. I hated it then, and I hate it even more now. Let's not do this again next year. I don't care if we have to re-assemble a team through the portal every damn year. We still deserve better than 7 complete joke non-conference home games. Or maybe we don't deserve better, if we don't give CDC a hard time about it.
  3. Mods, I suggest you lock this thread now before it blows up with comments about every evil of Republican administrations for the last 40 years.
  4. That's what happens when you schedule North Dakota State instead of Prairie View A&M.
  5. We'll be the underdog in each of those games, but not so much so that we will need a miracle to avoid going 0-5. I'm not sold on OU, and even though we have to play that game in Norman, Porter Moser is 0-6 so far against Texas. Tennessee is only 8 players deep, so any injury could cause a real problem for them.
  6. BYU was a good team that beat CU's brains out. CSU was CU's best non-conference win and it just lost by 26 to Miami Ohio in a stupid bowl game. Nebraska wasn't good, and it beat the snot out of CU. CU won 4 conference games against teams that went a combined 6-30 in the Big 12. Ain't it amazing what happens when you get to play the bottom 4 in the conference? FRAUD. CU was at best a mediocre team that had a weak schedule.
  7. Which is the stupidest and most unprofessionalist thing in the world. You can't draft a qb without taking his dad on as an assistant coach? What kind of crap is that? Any NFL team that plays that game should be relegated to USFL or whatever is out there as a minor pro league these days.
  8. Idiots are talking about it. Sanders is an internet and media personality. He's not a coach. Any NFL team that hires him for any position is an NFL team that needs to sack its GM.
  9. You had your award winners play in a meaningless bowl game and you still lost 36-14. Nice going, DEE-AWN.
  10. No NFL team would touch him. He's not a coach.
  11. CU was a fraud, and the guys running the stats in the booth know it. So they show CU's record last year and DEE-AWN's NFL career to justify this crap. Give it up. CU was not a good team this year. It was all about hype and not about substance.
  12. And there is DEE-AWN in the Fairfield commercial. F DEE-AWN, AFLAC, Fairfield, and everyone else who uses that clown in advertisements. I have a question. A serious question. Can Sanders actually coach?
  13. CU was a bad joke that was hyped by commercial interests and benefited from a cupcake schedule in the Big 12. How anyone could have put those clowns in the top 25 is beyond me. CU was nuked by a bad Nebraska team and played none of the teams that finished tied at 7-2 for the Big 12 regular season crown. Until tonight. When it got run off the field. And I will put it out there. I utterly despise Deion Sanders for the complete farce he helped create in "Prime Prep Academy," a total joke of a school that ripped off the students, their parents, and the State of Texas. They didn't bother with enough real teachers because they gave students laptops and VSchoolz. And it was all so he could start his coaching career on TV as a high school football coach. Dude is a total self-aggrandizing POS who should be remembered for Prime Prep Academy more than for anything else. And Colorado still sucks at football. But who cares if the team wins? It's all about the bling, isn't it? A Heisman for somebody on a team that didn't win anything meaningful. A Big 12 offensive player of the year for the coach's kid. Who cares if the team can't actually beat anyone with a pulse? Colorado football--one of the few things that can embarrass black uniforms.
  14. ACC now 1-9 with ECU scoring on an 86 yard run in the final two minutes to beat NC State. Along the way, ACC teams have lost to teams in the MAC, the MWC, the American Conference, independents not named Notre Dame, and teams that finished a combined 6-11 in the SEC and B1G. The ACC is totally a group of 6 conference.
  15. Why is ISU preserving clock and Miami's timeouts?
  16. They just showed Arky's Liberty Bowl history. Isn't playing in so many of them in the last 20 years a blot?
  17. Tech trickeration didn't fool anyone that time.
  18. Does anybody rank bowl games by the % of seniors who opt out?
  19. Let's hear it for a senior wr relegated to returning punts who calls for a fair catch at the 2.
  20. I call a tie
  21. Whatever one thinks of Tennessee's preformance today, my immediate reaction to today's games is to ask if maybe the top three of the B1G might be pretty damn good. While I think Clemson is better than SMU, PSU totally torched the Ponies, while we were in a hold our breath moment in the fourth quarter against Clemson. Meanwhile, tOSU completely torched a Tennessee team that is probably better than anyone we beat this year. The rest of the B1G might be junk, but Oregon, tOSU, and PSU seem real and deserving of quarterfinal slots.
  22. Announcers are still trying to talk up SMU as a team that proved all year that it deserved to be in the playoffs but just had a bad first half. Bwahahahahahahahahahah
  23. Only second one made since the NFL moved the goal posts back. Breaks a streak of 9 consecutive misses by teams.
  24. In the spirit of this thread, let me comment on the fact that predicted SEC bottom dweller South Carolina just beat ranked Clemson tonight.
  25. If he can't play because of injury, he can get a medical hardship. But F that. He is needed BADLY this year.
