I'll take a 200-0 win, but I'm bothered that we didn't have a single player do anything on our first possession to help a teammate get open.

The last time we hosted the Pomeroy #1 team, we were hosed by a bogus blocking foul near the end of regulation when one of our guy's chests was guilty of being in the way of Shead's extended forearm.

And if the season didn't get real enough against the Agroids, look out. Auburn is Pomeroy #1, has the most efficient offense in the country, and defends relentlessly. It shoots well from everywhere on the floor, doesn't get turned over, rebounds very well on both ends. Shedrick, Kent, and Onyema need to play out of their minds tonight against Broome and Cardwell. If we have no inside game and don't rebound several degrees of intensity better than we did against A&M, then we are toast. We have lost 3 games. We lost to tOSU because we couldn't hit threes but it could. We lost to UConn because UConn doubled us in offensive rebound %. A&M beat us by 20 because it doubled us in offensive rebounding %, we couldn't hit threes, and we couldn't stop A&M in the paint. That made for a lot of things we needed to fix in two days. Meanwhile, our next opponent, #1 in the polls Tennessee, will be in Gainesville tonight.

tOSU was a one possession game with 9 minutes to go and a 7 point game with 4 minutes left. We answered their 12-0 run to try to run away in the first half with a 10-0 run of our own. We lost by 8, but it was a competitive game.

I have never understood why we don't throw 10 yards or so downfield and not to the sideline on most plays.

Unmitigated mean absolute, unqualified, or not softened or lessened. We lost twice to the only team we played that is likely to finish in the top ten. So, yeah, it's a success, but it's mitigated.

This thread is silliness posing as an argument that we might win the natty if only someone else would beat tOSU for us then roll over for us in the finals. We nearly crapped the bed and wound up being lucky to win in the quarterfinals against a team that we were nearly unanimous in thinking we should run off the field. Let's not talk crap about supposedly being favored against semi-finalists we aren't facing. Who among us thinks ASU would have beaten PSU or ND? And those of you that claim you did, please link to comments you made about ASU before the Peach Bowl that would support that. If we want to win the natty, then we have to beat whoever it is we have to play. Beat tOSU, the worry about the finals, and don't dream about a different bracketing.

Despite what the announcers are saying it is, it is not "one of the great traditions in sports." It's totally gross. It's a suitable finish to a completely worthless bowl game between conference also-rans.

tOSU looks like it could score touchdowns today even while taking a knee.

Georgia played Texas twice and Clemson and Tennessee once each, so while Georgia didn't play more CFP teams, it played more games against CFP teams.

BTW, we are now 358th in non-conference SOS according to Pomeroy. That is out of 364 teams. Nice going, CDC. Yes, you brought in the defending national champs as part of a home and home deal, but then you added seven total garbage opponents. I said when the non-conference schedule was posted that it was filled with crappy games. I hated it then, and I hate it even more now. Let's not do this again next year. I don't care if we have to re-assemble a team through the portal every damn year. We still deserve better than 7 complete joke non-conference home games. Or maybe we don't deserve better, if we don't give CDC a hard time about it.

That's what happens when you schedule North Dakota State instead of Prairie View A&M.

We'll be the underdog in each of those games, but not so much so that we will need a miracle to avoid going 0-5. I'm not sold on OU, and even though we have to play that game in Norman, Porter Moser is 0-6 so far against Texas. Tennessee is only 8 players deep, so any injury could cause a real problem for them.

BYU was a good team that beat CU's brains out. CSU was CU's best non-conference win and it just lost by 26 to Miami Ohio in a stupid bowl game. Nebraska wasn't good, and it beat the snot out of CU. CU won 4 conference games against teams that went a combined 6-30 in the Big 12. Ain't it amazing what happens when you get to play the bottom 4 in the conference? FRAUD. CU was at best a mediocre team that had a weak schedule.

CU was a fraud, and the guys running the stats in the booth know it. So they show CU's record last year and DEE-AWN's NFL career to justify this crap. Give it up. CU was not a good team this year. It was all about hype and not about substance.

Dude is a total self-aggrandizing POS who should be remembered for Prime Prep Academy more than for anything else. And Colorado still sucks at football. But who cares if the team wins? It's all about the bling, isn't it? A Heisman for somebody on a team that didn't win anything meaningful. A Big 12 offensive player of the year for the coach's kid. Who cares if the team can't actually beat anyone with a pulse? Colorado football--one of the few things that can embarrass black uniforms.

ACC now 1-9 with ECU scoring on an 86 yard run in the final two minutes to beat NC State. Along the way, ACC teams have lost to teams in the MAC, the MWC, the American Conference, independents not named Notre Dame, and teams that finished a combined 6-11 in the SEC and B1G. The ACC is totally a group of 6 conference.
