  1. This game is at Ohio State which gives OSU a big advantage IMHO. Texas is also losing many key players to the NFL draft—Just like OSU
  2. Love listening to Rod’s take on team play schemes. Can’t wait to hear what he thinks of the upcoming season overall with Arch at the helm. (I can’t help but think Arch and QBs coming through the pipeline at Texas matches Sarks scheme better.)
  3. Ohio state -4.5 merely reflects longhorn fans betting in favor of Texas. I expect this number to change…
  4. The Texas that played against Arizona did not play to Texas standard we all know that. The optimist in me thinks Texas is still on the brink of finding its best game. Seemed Texas played with their food with Arizona (no offense to Arizona which was a good team today). Hope Sark and his team has a good game plan for OSU.
  5. I guess there’s no chance of Fasusi leaving OU. With this many players going to the portal I bet the OU coaches are telling him he’s probably going to be a day 1 starter…?
  6. You can’t tell me our Longhorn DLs aren’t being poached by other teams!! Imagine…Longhorns have the #1 defense in the country. This happened because of careful development and Coaching at Texas. what team wouldn’t want DLs from Texas who are almost fully developed and just waiting for playing time? If a team has the NIL to pay for them, and if DLs/DTs are considered premium players of need thru the portal, then this may explain why Texas is losing several of them thru the portal, right?
  7. His essay definitely eased the “sting” of his departure from the Longhorns. His essay shines a light on what Sark meant by team culture. He will be missed.
  8. This is where I feel Arch should have been weaponized vs. Georgia. If Georgia defense and Texas offense are a bad matchup, why didn’t Sark use Arch who loves to pass the ball? Georgia in quarter 3 and 4 beating the Texas Oline and had figured out how to attack Texas run. Playing Arch especially in 3rd quarter would’ve been a genius play call by Sark. I’m only saying this vs Georgia…deploying Arch against other teams may actually not be needed IMHO
  9. Quinn can’t do it alone. He needs a more consistent Oline to provide better protection and support the run—they’re a very capable veteran group. It goes without saying that receivers can’t afford the dropped balls. when the Oline is clicking, Texas will win in the red zone
  10. All that being said…will the Longhorns be wearing ICY WHITES in Atlanta???
  11. I just want Texas to beat aTm. Lesson from OSU v Michigan game…never take any game for granted. Hook’em
  12. If Texas goes to Sec championship (I don’t wanna assume anything) Texas needs to fix the “tell” in Banks’ footwork which gave Georgia a big edge against the Texas Oline.
