    With the tougher schedules due to conference realignment, I think 10 regular season wins is now the new standard for elite (versus 11 or 12 before). But this has to be followed up with conference championships (lets call it 2 out of every 4 years) and trips to the semis at a minimum with 1 natty thrown in every 5-6 years. I'm fairly picky about calling something or someone elite, so I'm really trying to keep this term for maybe 3-4 total teams at any given time. Georgia, Bama, Ohio St and Michigan are my only teams in this discussion as of today.

    I'm not in either of the keep Pierce or fire Pierce camps, but what he's done in conference play with always dropping the first game and always winning the series is one of the most impressive things I've seen from Texas baseball

    You feeling 4 for 4 to start the draft and 6 in the first round? I think we'll see 3 for 3 to start, then McCarthy in the top 7, then one of Nix or Penix before the end of the night.

    My initial pick is Murphy. He's just one of those guys that does everything right and I don't see how he fails in the league. But once I took a minute to think about it, I'm going to go with Sweat. I think he has the highest upside of any of our players and since he's falling in the draft I believe that he will ultimately be drafted by an organization that knows how to get the most out of him. I'm thinking Pitt or Balt.

    He's going to a non SEC school. Very little chance that he wants to sit out his 3rd year in college.

    But Seattle got back a 4th and a 6th, so it was essentially just a couple of pick swaps. And I agree, Wilson is beyond terrible

    I still don't understand why Denver didn't go get Howell for as cheap as Washington was giving him away for. He could have been a nice 1-2 year stopgap at QB while the team goes through a rebuild

    Final round today will be streaming on ESPN+ actually, so good news if you want to watch Women's conference championship was last week and Texas dominated. Brought home another big 12 title as we walk out the door

    And 3 recruits is probably the actual number. I feel like we get Moore and Lockett, but both Johnson and Harris will want in. Will Sark take all 4? My gut says to leave out Harris since he's in Cali, but we've been doing pretty well at Mater Dei

    Losing the recruits last year to pro leagues is one thing. Losing this kid to what will assuredly be another college is a disaster. I’m very curious to know what happened here.

    Glad to be in as an OG and a follower from IT. Haven't been able to read or post as much as I would like to lately, but that annual subscription is easily worth the donation amount for the video content alone. Keep up the good work boys!
