    That game against North Shore when Simmons was a junior was the best game I have ever seen a high school player play. I kept saying we have got to get this guy. I think he ranks right there with Arch as 1 of the 2 most important recruits Sark has signed.

    CJ, could you explain what he means by that. I'm guessing they are able to show a video of a previous play or formation on a tablet, and if that's what he means, why would this game be "more of an opportunity" than other games? Just a bigger game?

    Don't follow pro at all, had no idea he was with the Cowboys. Did he get any playing time or was he on the bench/practice squad?

    Your post got me curious, so I looked up Lacy's measurables and showed 6'0" 175 which is smaller than I thought. But, while looking up Lacy I found Trey Owens listed at 6'5" 220 which is bigger than I thought. Put me in the I think Owens will start at UT in the future group.

    I felt the same way with the last 2 coaching staffs we had, but I think Sark along with this staff can take a true athlete and find his position pretty quick. And for sure on Ffrench, Fasusi and Brooks.

    If signing LOI's and the portal remain they way they are now, I don't see this working out to well. It looks like the players have the hammer. The draft in the NFL gives the teams some control over the player they draft. Under this situation the GM would have to negotiate with with every player with the player being able to go to the highest bidder. That's not much different than it is now except there is a cap on the money. If there is no contract the player can still move around at will. Pretty weak position for the Schools the way I see it.

    When a recruit is playing the NIL game, I guess the only thing the school has to go on is what the recruit tells them? If that's true, I'm glad Texas has a limit on how much they want to go. If you can't find a true market value for the product you just have to set it for yourself, but, if you keep losing players then you have to raise.

    You're right, and I think we will come out with something, but plan A wasn't very well thought out.

    Put me on the it's too early to blame Kenny Baker train, but I do think we really should have brought in more than 5 guys for official visits and maybe gone harder after Williams. Just seems like there was no plan B for missing out on players. Baker needs to have that D'line playing really good football this year.
