    Good point. Some QB's are smart about getting yards without taking the beating, think Kyler Murray, he was one of the smartest about getting yards but not taking the hit.

    Don't watch much basketball any more but decided to tune in today. It didn't take me long to tune out, Texas is pretty bad at basketball.

    I think Sark really loves college football and he knows he's in a good place here at Texas. Don't see him leaving.

    It was 1962. I remember it was early '60's but couldn't remember exactly but I knew it wasn't '63 the MNC year. Had to look it up though, we won 25-13.

    Listening to the game on the radio is really pretty cool. I grew up listening to Kern Tips calling SWC games on the Humble Oil Network. One of the best games I remember was Texas vs Oregon when Oregon had Mel Renfro of Dallas Cowboys fame. Pretty sure he played both ways because his name was called all night long. Kern Tips and Craig are true legends of the radio.

    I think the committee should just select the 12 teams by whatever means including, conference championships, AP rankings, sos, eye test, etc. Once they get 12 teams then seed and go play it off, no reseed. That means a conference champion may get left out, and people will still cry if their team is left out, but I think there would be a better chance of getting the best teams and better matchups as the playoffs go forward. BTW, no special provisions for Notre Dame.
