    I wish we would have more designed pass plays to the running backs. I think Terry was initially a receiver so he should have good hands plus Brown is supposed to have receiving skills also. I know we need help blocking for Arch, but someone has to cover a back out of the backfield.

    That's a great point. This should force Sark's hand to run the ball more. Plus, Cojoe should become a better pass blocker with more game reps.

    That’s right, but you know that definition of insanity. Sark’s walking pretty close to that edge with his handling of this offense.

    If Sark doesn't know his QB has trouble with the offense he's running now that his QB is in his 4th year, then it is on Sark, the offense he runs and the plays he calls. Either simplify the offense or get someone that is capable of running it. We had patience with Arch when he got the starting role, but he has been around enough he should be able to run the offense. We constantly hear how good Arch is in practice but it doesn't transfer to the games, then you might need to change the way you practice. We don't need to single out one or the other, Sark or Arch, neither one is doing a good job.

    That was the thing that annoyed me more than anything about post game comments, press conference and all the rest. Special teams should at the very worst not hurt you. There is opportunity to gain from special teams but you should not lose ground in a game. If special teams don't gain from plays during a game the coach should say we need to work on special teams. I mean we lost the game because of special teams and the head coache"s answer is sometimes you go through lulls in a season. Sark says he is here to win championships, I guess we just have to wait until we don't have lulls in a season. It doesn't sound like the head coach is to worried about it.

    Not at all, by getting in first he may get the best price. They may be a lot lower by game time.

    I agree with you, I'm not for sitting him, but he needs to go on to the league because he's not getting any better here. Ready to see what K.J. can do.

    Good read Gerry. I wonder how much of Arch's lack of development is what they are asking him to do? It seems like he is uncomfortable in the pocket even when he has time to throw, not reading the field or receivers not getting open, I don't know. Maybe slow developing routes are the problem? He has trouble hitting receivers in stride when they are crossing the field in front of him. We don't have an effective RPO game when that seems like it is something Arch should excel at. How many times have we run a true RPO where Arch pulls the ball and made significant yardage? The guy just looks uncomfortable out there to many times. It's frustrating.

    I see very little criticism on this board that isn’t justified. That’s what these forums are for, to express opinions.

    He should be able to design plays his QB can execute. If Arch is making all of his throws in practice but not in games, that’s a big problem.

    John Harris was such a surprise. It was like where did he come from?

    I was at that game, one of the most exciting games I have ever seen. Carlisle was put in at DB on that last drive and intercepted Trull in the end zone to secure the win. 7 to 3 Texas. Defensive/field position games can be exciting. BTW Baylor QB was named Don Trull.

    Who would bet even money he’s coming to Texas? I don’t know where he’s going but and I wouldn’t bet either way.
