  1. The difference in team speed was striking. I felt sorry for Gardere. Did not have a chance.
  2. I was there. The weather was miserable. the worst. I remember someone telling me Miami practiced outdoors in shorts and t-shirts in sub freezing temps while we practiced indoors simulating plays in hotel meeting rooms.
  3. Nicely written. I feel the same.
  4. Is that a scheme change or actually successfully doing what the scheme already was?
  5. Or...here me out on this...Chambliss is gonna announce his transfer on an AT&T commercial.
  6. Good frame. Large human
  7. If not for Bijan, I win my fantasy football championship yesterday. But his 93-yard TD run still made me smile. Reminded of his run against the sooners.
  8. Brees and Fitzgerald are no-brainers to me. I don't see Woodson getting in. I would select Kuechly before Woodson. I'm not sure about Gore either. Vinateri should be a shoo-in... for as much of a shoo-in a kicker can be. Pun intended. Holt should be in. Although guys have passed him on the all-time receiving yards list since he retired. I don't know enough about the OL to know how these guys rate to the all-time greats. But if I had to pick one, seems like it would be Yanda. I don't have too much of a problem with the finalists. I think Adrian Peterson will be on next year's ballot. I think Gronk and Richard Sherman are eligible next year also. Maybe Antonio Brown?
  9. I remember losing my s*** in front of the tv when Priest when airborne over the pile to score what in my mind remember as the game winning TD.
  10. Spent 20 minutes catching up on this thread. What a mental beating this thread has become...
  11. I didn't realize there was a scheme change
  12. Good point. What do you think is the cause of CJ's big reduction in sacks from last season? His sacks are nearly cut in half compared to the 2024 season.
  13. Who do we replace him with? There are 9 guys in the entire NFL with a better QBR. CJ had a better OL his first season in the league with Tunsil. But to answer your question, I do not believe he has regressed. He makes quicker decisions, gets rid of the ball quicker, takes less sacks, and is making better long throws. Is he perfect? No. Does he have room for improvement? Yes. Bottom line is I’d like to see what he can do with a better OL.
  14. You’re doing SA wrong…
  15. I’m not claiming CJ is a pro-bowler or the second coming of Warren Moon…but the dude is currently 10th in QBR in the NFL…this season. Behind “this” offensive line. His QBR has improved from last season. This is his 3rd season in the NFL.
  16. We’re 11-5 and in the playoffs with a shot at a division title if the Colts accidentally wind tomorrow. How is this wasting our defense?
  17. As a Texans fan, hate to see it…
  18. I guess. But I don’t see this as a bad thing. Seems like we should find a way to utilize Coach Boom. Maybe up in the booth.
  19. Would him on the sidelines really take away from the staff or the game?
