    Lol. I didn't get to know him as well through the process like I did the Barnes family. Not gonna wish ill will against anybody though. Just hope he does poorly against Texas.

    Why? He's a great kid from a great family that decided to go to a different school. Want to see him succeed. Not going to write novels about him but topical today since he was working out with Texas guys. Nick Brooks was there too. Colin Simmons chatted with him for a while.

    Part of it, yeah. He wasn't doing it from like an entitled standpoint though.

    Nah. Several of the 2025 class took pay cuts this offseason (really it was just no signing bonuses and normal pay compared to Year 1 for where he was slotted) and he was willing to do that as well but felt like there was more of an opportunity to go contribute faster elsewhere with Texas bringing in the number of LBs they did in the portal and from the HS ranks. And obviously Kentucky was paying him more.

    CJ and I caught a workout today at Westlake that featured a number of college athletes from across the country. We were there for Colin Simmons and Lance Jackson, but bumped into Bo Barnes. He's doing well at UK. Says CJ Baxter is fully healthy too. Awesome kid. Wish him well.
