  1. Is the OSU game the most meaningful/impactful game of the regular season because of it's early implications and how it can influence the outlook for the rest of the season so early on?
  2. Drive killing penalties. I'd assume that those should drop in the Oline next season with a more mature group playing. Hopefully that discipline is also being instilled in the backups in case of injuries. Kicking Brandon Baker to the inside should limit the amount of holding and false start penalties he committed last year Seymore only had 1 penalty the entirety of last season Melvin Siani I believe only committed 7 Connor Robertson should improve Trevor Goosby = no complaints
  3. That is true, I do like Zina a lot but Jayden Woods would've projected to be the better player unless Zina surprises us all this year.
  4. Man i still wish Texas didn't let Jayden Woods leave without committing. Biggest mistake of the portal cycle.
  5. If they (Flood and co.) view him as a similar prospect to John Mills they better fight to get him in this class lol.
  6. can't wait to deploy this on the 4th 😂
  7. June-July and November-December are going to be comedic on this site.
  8. I don't think the Aggies would've been a better alternative (previously committed to them). Him and Ant Hill on the 40 would've fed families in an alternative universe.
  9. magic 8 ball says he's a longhorn when it's all said and done.
  10. I thought the Buccaneers were going to pick him up. They surprised me with their pick.
  11. Does Texas allocate funds for recruiting while keeping in mind the transfer portal or does the salary cap reset in the offseason lol? With so much attrition after next season, the team will be fairly young and somewhat inexperienced in almost all position groups except maybe the secondary and trenches on both sides in 2027. Hopefully Sark and co can continue to replenish that depth year after year.
  12. Him and Royal on opposite flanks would be devastating lol. I wish Texas can find a matthew golden regen though.
  13. Say it ain’t so 👀
  14. There's been some buzz in relation to Lincoln Riley and the current coaching carousel. Josh Pate mentioned he's a name to watch out for 🤔. If the buzz actually ends up being true how would that fare with USC's avalanche of a recruiting class, and is Texas still in communication with any recruits committed there with less than a month left before national signing day.
  15. One of the HIs
  16. What a successful weekend. Hope all the hi’s pan out.
  17. @Gerry Hamilton saw this from a mile away.
  18. Yea this could very well be the case. But then again the playoff committee may not leave a team (brand face value) like Texas out of the playoffs in terms of viewership and strength of roster regardless of those big losses, but why leave it up to chance. Texas just has to deliver these next 3 weeks on all phases especially at Kyle field.
  19. Thanks for the site. So with this standing I honestly don’t see 5 sec teams making the playoffs if Boise state and notre dame win out.
  20. Was just going over a few hypotheticals and there is a chance that after week 14 the SEC could have 6 teams standing at 10-2 if; Alabama (wins out) Georgia (wins out) Texas (loses to Texas A&M) Ole Miss (wins out) LSU (wins out) Tennessee (loses to Georgia then wins out) How would this workout for us in terms of the SEC title game and the playoffs. I believe if we lose to A&M we don't make the SEC championship game, but regardless, in this scenario the team that plays A&M in the sec title game will be 10-2 when entering the game. If that team comes out as 10-3 would this loss eliminate them from playoff contention? Was talking to a friend about this hypothetical and they had my brain churning when claiming that if this is the actual record for the SEC teams come week 14, Texas would probably miss out on the playoffs due to strength of schedule and quality wins.
  21. Still very early for 2026 recruiting but three 2026 recruits committed to the aggies following that win against LSU, kinda makes you think how much winning in these types of games actually affects some recruits. Maybe Texas would’ve had a similar trend if they beat Georgia but nevertheless Sark and co will get the guys they want and need.
  22. I know Gerry and others mentioned that recruits look at the game in a different perspective than us fans and they look at the entire package but based on this I fear we may have lost this recruitment or may have let Georgia gain an edge on us that may have not been there prior to the game on this particular recruitment.
