  1. When we first got the schedule I called my nephew gleaming. I told him if we beat Michigan we could afford a loss to UGA and still be in contention for the CFP and possibly the Natty. Now the more I watch UGA, I get less and less impressed. Now the good guys still have to prove it on the grass, but as long as we stay relatively healthy the more I actually feel like this is our year🤘🏿
  2. This is sad on so many levels. Most of these guys would have most likely been the one to build generational wealth for their families and the squandered that opportunity. I was never going to be a professional or collegiate athlete so I went into the military. I remember the pride people in my community would look at me with. The only thing I thought was I can't let these people down. If the younger generation could see that I made it facing the same obstacles they are then that gives them hope. Unfortunately these guys don't understand that it's always bigger than you.
  3. Lol my qb went from Mr. Irrelevant to NFL darling to dookie covered butt cheeks. However, he's still on his rookie contract so we basically paying him in food stamps. 9er fans argued me up and down that Brock Purdy was elite, I was like dude I watched him for four years at ISU and he got progressively worse every year. So now when the 9ers lose I run to the 9er channels just to troll my own fanbase. So I win no matter what😂
  4. I give them the ball. Unless Oklahoma offense found all of the answers with a freshman qb in the biggest game of the season it's unlikely they score. I want the ball first after the half. Because I'm trying to score right before the half. With OU struggles on offense if they go down two scores it's unlikely they can come back. Which will force BV to be ultra aggressive and blitz happy and I'll take our speed on the outside against their corners all day.
  5. WTH man i topped out at 6ft but both of my brothers are 6-6 and 6-4 without an ounce of athleticism. I would have given anything to reach at least 6-2. Lol my man is 6-8 at 16 throwing 96mph heaters, yeah life ain't fair lol.
  6. Frfr the problem with gimmicky offenses is once you show the gimmick teams can now practice against it and gameplan for it. That option shovel pass was sweet, but they used it twice. The next time they try it it'll be a TFL.
  7. They have they answer. Drive down the field and limit Vandy to three yards per carry or play nad when they get to the RZ make them kick fgs while Texas scores TDs. Now you make Vandy play conventional football and Pavia play conventional football. Now you can capitalize on the many mistakes he's going to make.
  8. Nico is going to be a worse NFL qb too. That Veer and Shoot offense doesn't teach you to play qb. You're not lining WRs damn near out of bounds in the league. That system is quarterbacking with training wheels. Nico looked good against Kent St and NC St but they aren't good. But any defense he played with a pulse he didn't know what to do when. Look at the difference between what Arch was asked to do compared to Nico.
  9. I enjoyed the back and forth BTW. Lol I tell my nephew all the time that the hardest part of being a Longhorn fan is that it often intersects with Cowboy fans. Which I am NOT😂. Cowboy fans tend to bring that we're dem boys and we winning it all logic to the table every year and when it doesn't happen it's fire everybody in the offseason. Not sure if you're a Cowboy fan or not but I can respect a logical person and that sir is you🤘🏿
  10. They aint ready for The RRR. There isn't a game like it anywhere in the country.
  11. He did the same thing against UGA. They blow UGA out if he ran the ball once he went up. Reminds me of Sark's first two years at Texas we would go up big knowing we lacked depth defensively but the rbs was our biggest strength and when Sark just kept forcing the deep shots our defense would wear down and we would lose. Deboer is still coaching like he's in the Pac 12 and don't have the abundance of riches that he does. That will get him ran out of town.
  12. Yeah yeah yeah Hicks I get it yay can't wait til he hits campus. But inquiring minds wanna know if Pawl going to be on Coffee and Football tomorrow morning?
  13. I'm just saying State tried a similar gameplan against us. They held the ball for majority of the first half. We had the same amount of turnovers as Bama had against Vandy. We had stupid penalties that killed drives. The thing is we limited State to FGs and in the second half for the most part we made State do what they didn't want to do. Eventually the levy broke and our depth took over. Bama could have played a similar game plan that we executed. But they just want to match Vandy score for score instead of inching back into the game and keep Vandy off the feild by using those Bama backs and letting Bamas line fire off run blocking instead of catching blocks in pass coverage. Deboer is an OC not a headcoach. He lacks in managing the game.
  14. The more I watch UGA the more they look like a Big 10 team. What I mean by that is, where's the speed that the good SEC teams are know for? They just look slow.
  15. Pavia is what Jalen Daniels was last year. People hyped him up as a Heisman candidate, fast forward to today and teams are saying beat me with your arm and without all the gimmicks and he's cheeks.
  16. Pavia is not the guy that's going to beat you dropping back and beating you with his arm? Vandy does not have the talent on the outside thats going to beat a Texas secondary. Pavia is also a guy who is going to put the ball on the ground. Pavia is not great, if he was they don't lose to GA ST. Would you take Pavia over Arch, Quinn, hell even Trey. Watch what happens when he has to play qb against Texas.
  17. It's just as much on Deboer as it is Womack. Deboer is a great playcaller, but lacks in the game management and situational football aspect of coaching. We seen it last year when he made crucial mistakes that gave Texas a chance to win it at the end. We seen it against UGA when he let UGA come all the way back and take the lead. When seen it again yesterday when he kept dailing up homerun plays thats just going to put a tired defense right back on the field and when on the strip sack that if he runs the ball there they probably score and rest his defense and give them time to adjust.
  18. You're reading too much into Vandy run game. They're not some juggernaut, the play calling and execution on offense is the reason Alabama lost. Look at the difference in time of possession. Alabama's defense was on the feild too long. Vandy defense isn't some brick wall. So why did Alabama not string drives together instead of trying to hit home runs. The outcome and strategy from Sark will be much different. Sark understands complementary football. Sark knows how to protect his defense with his offense. While people complain about PK, one thing he does great this year is make you do what you don't want to and I bet you won't see a light box against Vandy. As cool as Vandy offense is DP is still not a qb and we're going to make him play qb.
  19. Sark won't have to motivate his team with speeches, all he has to do is ask did yall watch any games yesterday.
  20. Is Miami allergic to defense?
  21. The play calling by Tennessee was sus their last drive.
  22. No he ended up getting in the endzone.
