  1. Calls change from year to year even as much as game to game. WRs are on a choice route tree with strict rules. So you can literally call the same play four times consecutively and it'll be different depending on the defensive front and defensive backfield alignment. So even switching schools Parker doesn't have any more information of this year's scheme that isn't already on tape.
  2. Go watch Indiana against Ohio State vs Texas against Ohio State and notice the difference between how the Buckeye quarterback played. At some point you have to stop waiting for the QB to make a mistake and force him to make it. PK didn't do that and that why in all but one year his pass defenses were below average. Not to mention he could never marry the front to the backend
  3. Just found out my niece is best friends with our offensive line commit Jack. She's like he's huge she'll be going to a game or two with them. She asked if I wanted to go, I was like nah I'm good and the beer is expensive 😂
  4. A lot of attention for a dude I didn't even know was committed. Is he prime Bobby Wagner, Fred Warner, or Ray Lewis? If no idgaf🤷🏿
  5. That's what makes Texas like no other school in the country. We don't have to pick and choose which sport we're going to spend on. We have the resources to spend on them all. Look at our men's basketball roster, our women's basketball roster, our football roster, our volleyball roster, our baseball and softball rosters. It's why we're always in the running for the Director's Cup. There aren't many schools who can compete with that.
  6. Reese just hit a 2 run blast for her 8th HR of the season.
  7. They're doing horrible marketing the league, with Pickens, Atwood, Canandy... along with some many other high profile players coming in from a very popular college softball you'd think their partners from MLB would really get behind it so that the league doesn't collapse or they don't have to wait 30 years like the WNBA. Women sports are really taking off.
  8. Anyone watch the AUSL? Seeing Atwood catch Pickens is weird and amazing at the same time.
  9. How am I taking it too seriously? A high school kid has the nerve to challenge an all pro NFL corner. What's a common trait for this community isn't common for me. You won't find me on many if any threads talking projection over production. I'm sorry but that's just what I do if that's what everyone is on then I won't be the part pooper, I'll let you guys have your "fun"🤘🏿
  10. Basketball and football are totally different sports. If I have a quicker step than you I can get to the cup and use the rim as a protector. In football even if I beat you off the line and do all the things, but the QB is late and throws it inside and high that's a pbu or a pick. Young buck needs to calm down, there's so much that he doesn't even know that he doesn't know. Confidence is good arrogance and ignorance yield Brandon Aiyuk.
  11. There's confidence and arrogance 😂 if a high school student thinks he can challenge an all pro NFL corner that's just ignorance. I wish Sauce would have taken him up on his challenge and showed his the difference in strength, technique, and craftiness. These two aren't on the same planet when it comes to skill. Size and speed don't matter when you're going against someone who can neutralize it.
  12. I know how we can get with our Longhorns in either the NFL or NBA, but if you're looking for Dylain to be more than a 15 minute a game role player and someone who has to get in where he fits in you're expecting waaaaay to much. He ain't there yet🤘🏿
  13. True but at the same time with what Texas has on campus for the next couple of years in Bishop, Royal isn't as much of a must get for Texas as he is for LSU. If LSU wants to outbid Texas for him, Texas essential weakend LSU as a whole. LSU is already facing donor fatigue and with no real proven QB on campus after Sam, they're going to have to over spend for a QB in the portal. So like much of Lane's team they might have an explosive offense, but no real difference makers on the side of the ball that brings championships home.
  14. I think Boozer will have the best season out the group. He never looks like he works hard. Then at the end of the game he has 20/10 and you never even notice. Being fundamentally sound and consistent is going to go a long way.
  15. Not sure because I don't have a good gauge on what direction they're going with their roster.
  16. I'm biased being a Duke fan and all, but I think Maliq Brown will have the best tenure as a Spur. There's nothing flashy about him, but he can guard the three and four and most small ball centers. There wasn't going to be much the Spurs was going to get out of this draft other than role players and depth. So it may not look like it on paper but they had a pretty good draft all things considered. They can groom what they have while the pups already on the roster grow into dawgs
  17. This year's NBA draft class is the best since... I'll go first 96. I love that all four of the top four picks believe they should have went number 1. The Clippers are going to regret going Wagler over Acuff, they both are allergic to defense, but at least Acuff can create separation and get his shot off. Wagler... meh so far, not so much.
  18. We only played him at the 1 because of the roster make up. When the season starts hell spend most of his time at the two or three. Hard to see me seeing Splitter taking the running the offense duties from Tre and Josh.
  19. Spears Jr. I hope you're watching Caleb Wilson, you could be next.
  20. HELP!!! IM HANGING WITH MY WHITE FRIENDS😂 IYKYK
  21. Is anyone here aware that aTm has a more talented and deeper roster than Texas?
  22. 😂 now that I think about it, this is my most favorite time of the year. It's the only time or setting I have to be cordial to Cowboy fans and when I learn Arch is overrated, Arch is a nepo-baby, and the Texas hype is unwarranted. Ah yes,(you know what goes here... hint it's four letters and starts with F) December, this is the most exciting time of the year🤘🏿
  23. This goes pretty much for any position not named Edge, MLB, LT, or QB. Players like Worthy don't come around as often as people think. Odds are you can find a polished 3rd year guy looking to play under the bright lights in a friendly system. Then again I'm not big on recruiting, you get who you get and you don't throw a fit🤷🏿 Like it or not college football rosters are becoming more like NFL. With Bishop on campus and in the program, if this becomes an NIL thing you let him go. However, of it just that the young man wants to play in The Boot, you were never going to hold onto him anyway.
  24. Don't worry y'all we got him. Look for great things from him, but have patience we're young👀🔴
  25. I'm not sure what direction they are going at the 2 but one thing for sure is there will be minutes for him if he shows what they want at that position. Looks like we'll keep Josh so he won't be asked to handle the ball much and when he does it's to get to the rim. I think hella fit well if our system is similar to what was ran in Portland with Splitter.
