  1. UGA is not him, we bout to serve them their 2nd L.
  2. I think they will. Even the novice X and O guy can see that ou secondary is a liability, so I think they do a lot of showing and dropping. That means our lineman need to be bullies, besides it's preparation for Georgia. Why not kill two birds with one stone?
  3. Ms./Mrs. @NancyS lol you can't just start a thread and be absent you have to moderate it also🤘🏿 😂 I'm just giving you a hard time bc you corrected me on gals and girls🤫
  4. We have to get to Hawkins and hit him early and often. One thing about young qbs when they get touched is they start to see and feel pressure that isn't there and you can force them into sacks or throw errand passes.
  5. There's so many looks we can give without actually spying or showing a spy. I feel like we may see more of a bear front while playing man. That puts the safeties on the TE and RB while the nickel plays the slot while both linebackers can play run and keep eyes on the qb. Don't worry there's always going to be eyes on Hawkins. If not I'm going to put you in charge of the gofundme and raise money to get me out of jail😂
  6. All week I've listened to ou talking heads and one of their main keys to victory or making a game of it is to turn Texas over. With ou incompetence of offense the key to that is where the ball is turned over not to mention that counting on turnovers as a given is nothing more than hope. Turnovers like sacks comes in bunches. I think ou respects our recievers and qb more than the running game. It would be stupid not to. So while they may show blitz and crowd the line, I bet they'll do more dropping eight than bringing extra rushers. With that being said, unpopular opinion, Texas run game will have a pretty big day. Or at least they should.
  7. Football is a passion of mine. You know that guy who was a really good HS player but didn't have the juice to go any higher? That's me. I love watching opponents and finding weaknesses that can be exploited. While watching the ou defense, there's a few things I've noticed. Their safeties are absolutely dogs coming downhill and being a force in the run game. Where they aren't as good is playing the pass when teams aren't in a passing situation, they play flat footed and you can get behind them. I'd love to see Sark attack the middle of the field in the intermediate to deep area. Another thing is motion triggers their defense. Sark has a ton of motion and screens either bubble, tunnel, or misdirection. If he's going to use those plays off motion it's basically a wasted down or play. Throwing laterally is playing into ou hands. Not that Sark is huge on tempo, but he shouldn't use it until later in the game or two minute. We should actually huddle more. Why? Simple, ou lines up based of your formation, when you huddle and get to the line after the comms shut off, that gives them less time to react and they are less likely to get lined up right. There's so much to take advantage of when going against ou defense that I could be writing til kick off. So what what tendencies have you noticed? Yes, we already know ou is opportunistic and we need to take care of the ball and have less mental and procedure penalties, I challenge you to dig deeper🤘🏿
  8. I'm 44 with a full head of dreadlocks, if or when I ever go bald my life is over. My brothers are 6-4 and 6-6 while I only managed 6ft with socks on, but guess what, they're bald AF. So who's laughing now😂
  9. It's crazy to think that oklahoma could actually be 2-3 right now. They had real issues against a horrible Houston team and if the refs don't gift ou a muffled punt allegedly then ou never goes up 7-0 and the safety they forced doesn't matter. Tulane is another, the way Tulane found their grove in that game and clawed back, had they had a more experienced qb, they score a touchdown and go up one and it's a different game, and we all know what happened against Tennessee.
  10. I've been up since 0200 come on start this thing already
  11. Is anyone watching the Lobos and Jack Rabbits? Is there a player I should be watching? https://www.youtube.com/live/X-frs_SJxqU?feature=shared
  12. One thing Quinn and I have in common is that we're both urban cowboys lol
  13. Apparently it's horns down week for my nephew this week also, but he knows... he knows🤘🏿
  14. Say it with your chest😂🧡🤍🤘🏿
  15. You can't pay me to watch a MLB game because I refuse to sit and watch a game for 15 hours only to end 2-1. College baseball and those aluminum bats however I've come to love recently. It's exciting, it seems like a faster pace, and there's definitely more scoring. So while I'm only about 3-4 years in as a college baseball fan I can't wait for the season.
  16. Here's one thing I've noticed watching ou vs Tennessee. They are keying the orbit motion and that triggers the star and strong side safety as to where the ball is going. So unless Sark is going to throw away from the motioned player throwing wide isn't a good idea. I'll say it again and I'll say it til I'm blue in the face, 2 and 22 are great coming downhill in run support but they both play flat footed so you can get behind them. I feel like the middle of the field in the deep and intermediate area is the best part of the feild to attack. And oh buddy if we are breaking off chunk runs of 5-7 yards consistently then Sark is going to be able to call whatever he wants. We have to absolutely find a run game tomorrow.
  17. You take the land that the team you previously beat owned.
  18. This map was hard to follow at first, but it's amazing what a little reading can do for understanding. Can't blame me though, there's only two rules to being a man: 1. You don't need instructions 2. Never ask for directions😂 just keep turning left and you'll get where you wanna be eventually
  19. I need transcripts or it didn't happen😂
  20. When you know what's coming and can sense the tide is turning, that's when you fall back on we've won this many out of that many. Someone should inform the ou crowd past performance is NOT indicative of future results🤘🏿
  21. That has to be an awesome feeling. I never experienced anything like it on a competitive stage. Winning the game is great, but as someone who has multiple deployments the closest feeling I could compare it to is the comradery I built with my platoon, Battery, and squad. I envy these young men, they don't know it now, but something as small as a football game will take these guys from being teammates to family. They'll always have someone to pick them up when they fall down. And that's what it's all about🧡🤍🤘🏿
  22. OU safeties may be good coming downhill but there isn't much you see from 2 or 22 in pass coverage. OK maybe they had a bad game, but I'm not impressed. Don't compare either one of these safeties to Earl. One thing about Earl, is that if he was playing single high/middle of the feild closed, it was definitely closed. Neither one of those safeties have that kind of range, well at least not in this game🤷🏿‍♂️
  23. Crazy Quinn came to Texas as a passer. It took a little longer than we all wanted but now he's a qb. I'm really hoping he lands in Miami. They already do a lot of the things he's comfortable doing.
