  1. Bro I don't want to argue or debate with you. I'm whatever you say I am. I lack whatever maturity you think. Have a nice day🤘🏿 You're right. That works for you?
  2. Cool story but I'm not reading all that. Let's just agree to disagree and I wasnt defensive about anything.
  3. When it comes to lines of scrimmage I read the reports and try to make my best assessment. I knew Texas would be better people movers than last year because of the size. I watched our transfer defensive tackles and the flashes January had last year and expected him to improve from there. Many of the experts had worries about our interior, but there's a post somewhere that I said we insert new guys every year since Couburn and Ojomo and get better every year somehow. I didn't learn anything from watching Florida last weekend and definitely didn't see anything concerning outside of their sophomore running back. He's what I expected Baxter to be.
  4. Was not the G-C-G not a strength and not able to get push? Didn't the lack of depth for OSU show up? How many rushing yards did Texas have. Most of my statements were predicted on Arch playing decently, which he didn't until the fourth quarter. Where did Downs in this game look light years ahead of Taafe? What coverage did OSU play? Inverted Tampa 2. I talked about Arch stepping up in the pocket, did you not see that 3 times this game? Didn't Sark tailor the game to what Arch does well? His best passes wasn't the quick game its the deeper stuff and thats the best passes Arch threw all game. While you're getting screenshots go back and find where I was asking about Arch in the quick game and intermediate throws. To say nothing I said happened is crazy.
  5. If you're speaking from a Texas POV, I'd say you're going to find out a lot these next three weeks. Sark is going or will want to get Arch good looks of route concepts against live and different coverages. Who and what concepts Arch looks and feels most comfortable throwing will tell who is scoring the TDs.
  6. LSU harassed Cade all night, Miami don't have world beaters but they're good enough, Lagway may not even make it to Texas.
  7. The worse thing about losing in football on any level is having to wait a week to get back on the grass. I'd imagine practice this week will be chippy and extremely physical. The guys are ticked off and gotta take it out on each other until they don't.
  8. Not just that. Texas went into the game not knowing what they will face defensively. It's on tape now, Michigan and Penn State will have a very good idea what they'll see. OSU may have been "vanilla" on offense, but so was Texas. Penn State and Michigan will have plenty to throw at that five man front.
  9. Do we really know what Florida is or isn't on the line of scrimmage? I love the sophomore running back he was a load last year. Dike one of the recievers from last year is on a NFL roster and has been solid in his reps. Where I disagree is that Lagway is a good qb, I haven't seen it is the reason. He may end up being really good, but I'm not going to credit that to him just yet. He throws the deep ball really well, but timing and touch isn't a strength foe him as of yet. So for me, I'm not looking at what he could or should be, bc he may never reach that. All I have is what he's shown.
  10. Lol these next three games that if you're playing CFB, you sim.
  11. I believe Florida has deeper tackles, but I like OSU everywhere else. I don't expect to get the same push against Florida, but the edges and secondary will have problems against us. We learned more about Texas against OSU than Florida did against LIU. There were so many broken tackles that led to explosives, and Florida place kicker should be called Auburn.
  12. My take maybe bad. Starkville is Rowdy, Akry is rowdy, College Station is rowdy, Athens is rowdy, the Cotton Bowl is rowdy. There is a YUGE difference tho, only one of those teams has the horses and roster to get it done.
  13. Florida may have played better, which brings me back to the qb, Dj really didn't. He was still making the same mistakes like holding the ball, not getting it out on time, misses routine throws, and taking sacks. If he holds the ball against Texas, this defense will have a historic day.
  14. I wouldn't go that far, but there's a tendency for our fanbase to not look at where a team is, or what they actually are, and judge them on who, what, and where the team we're going to face is. I'm not one who thinks Texas should go undefeated every year, but most times I'm in the ballpark of where the team will finish. Even with the loss last week my expectations of a SEC ship and Natty haven't moved. And if we're going to reach those goals, in my opinion Florida isn't a team that scares me. LSU, OSU, UGA, and to some extent Clemson does.
  15. Not only does Florida have to do everything right, Texas has to shoot themselves in the foot. And Sunbelt Billy is still the coach. I think most here would say that the best teams in the SEC are Texas, UGA, and LSU. If we're the team we think, we're not worried about Florida. If we are we're closer to Ole Miss than we are to Georgia.
  16. You really think that? Go back and watch the game. Lagway had like one really good drive after that it was four and outside even before he got injured.
  17. We will see. Florida may be talented, but they aren't OSU talented, or UGA talented, and if we can't curb stomp them, then we shouldn't be talking playoffs or SEC championship.
  18. Not comparing the two, but I am asking would you be less confident if you were facing a team with a qb with those numbers?
  19. Lagway might be able to sling it but asking him to play on time and in rhythm is or has been a tall task. I'm not even worried about how much Texas scored last year, I'm talking about Lagway who has 12tds-9ints, 50% passer, and can't stay healthy. If Texas was facing a Mississippi State qb with that history, we'd be licking our chops. So why does it make a difference that it's Florida?
  20. It trips me out that some fans seem to really be worried about Florida. Why? If the knock on Arch was let's seem him against a good defense then what do yall think Lagway is going to look like against Texas. Are we judging Florida on what they did to LIU at home? Lagway was really tearing up UGA either. Or if you want to bring up the LSU you game, 🤣, he was 50% against one of the worst defenses in the SEC. So far Lagway is barely a 50% passer against any defense with a pulse. Florida v Texas won't be close and I don't care if the game is played on the moon.
  21. He said as much when he said this game is about us. I wouldn't be surprised if Texas scores 70 these next three games, because where Sark normally likes to have a 50:50 run pass ratio he more than likely will have a 60:40 ratio to get Arch looks and reps. These games are glorified scrimmages.
  22. After watching again I didn't come away any less enthusiastic about Arch. As well as OSU defense played I think the outcome was more on what Arch did or didn't do. Texas and Arch will be ok.
  23. If Arch is the qb and leader we think he is, no way this performance sits well with him. I'm excited as to what comes next from him.
  24. Our recievers wasn't what kept us in the game, our ability to get push up the middle did. That's Michigan all day with a runner in Bryce.
  25. 🤣 calm down guys we're all on the same team. We just take it in differently was the premise.
