  1. When watching the spring game or his time in against Michigan State I didn't see him powering the ball into tight windows. People confuse being able to throw far and a strong arm. Joe Milton has a strong arm, Will Howard had a strong arm, that's not what you get from Sayin.
  2. Sayin from what little I've seen doesn't have the biggest arm. He thrives in the short to intermediate area, I don't see Day leaving him out to dry on many 5 to 7 step drops. I expect to see them move Sayin's launch point, a lot of screens, hitches, slants, and comebacks. Tackling has to be on point, limiting YAC is the key. In my opinion Smith is big and fast with gold status in head tapping dbs deep. He's not the most polished route runner.
  3. It was said on the live that Julian is comparable to Quinn. I don't see that at all for a number of reasons, for instance, he's more athletic, his mechanics are sound, and he has a much stronger arm. If I were to compare to anyone it would be Alabama Tua.
  4. Crazy that the run block right after this play was even better. The only and I mean only reason he didn't go higher is measurables.
  5. The way I gauged it separation yards between he and the nearest defender. Even on his long score that throw was perfect, the defender gambled and missed. The good thing about throwing outside is everyone is inside. But even still he was getting hawked down, without the key block at the end he doesn't score. I don't see Sark using him like Stanford did. Once Sark shows Stanford the player they couldn't unlock, somebody in Palo Alto is getting fired.
  6. I was just coming to say Jaylan doing Jaylan things
  7. Ole Danny boy looks stupid wearing 47 and still looks like a created player on Madden with every accessory in the inventory
  8. Banks is good. Like real good he just collapsed his side and went on to block the backer on the second level.
  9. Banks look good and Broughton with a fumble recovery.
  10. He'll do better at Texas because he'll have more catch and run opportunities. I like him on third down. Sark knows how to put his guys in position to make a play. I can see intermediate crossers in his future.
  11. He had himself a day yesterday, with a pick 6, and a fumble recovery.
  12. Oh I know you 😂 I'm a 9ers fan that's the only reason for singling out. Personally I don't think the 9ers did him any favors drafting him to s wide 9 defense. He would been better served going to a 3-4.
  13. I mentioned Sark being a better play caller and designer than whatever they have at Stanford. I'm not bashing the young man or saying he can't play. I mentioned everything I liked about his game. I was merely pointing out the speed mentioned here to describe him doesn't show on tape. Fast recievers don't make as many contested catches as he did because they create separation. Whether that be burning you from the jump or the stem at the top of your route.
  14. I'm watching Alfred Collins and he is just gawd awful. He's definitely a work in progress. Grab a snickers its gonna be a while.
  15. I don't doubt that, I just didn't see the burst, elusiveness, or speed. Even on his 62 yard touchdown with a key block he gets caught. Speed isn't the only way to be a great wideout. I just think Sark will have to scheme him open and when he does I have all the confidence in him to male the play if the play is there.
  16. His plays weren't all underneath. He wasn't laughing down the feild 40 yards or anything, he operated in the intermediate both inside and outside the numbers. The running game was working so he was able to work off play action. It was a very Brock Purdy like showing for him. But yeah both of his TD throws came in the redzone.
  17. Quinn is currently on a 13 play 92 yard drive at the 2 minute warning. On this drive he was behind the chains multiple times and found away to keep the chains moving. He still has a long way to go, but he definitely looks like he belongs. Looks like he's going to finish 11-17 116 with 2 yes. Guess the reports of him not making the same mistakes we've heard out of Dolphins camp are true.
  18. Quinn is looking good and doing things he didn't do last week. The Dolphins are even moving his launch point by giving him naked boots. He's 5/8 48 yards 2tds and no sacks.
  19. Wait til you see Makuba pick 6 on Gabriel. 75 yards to the box.
  20. This is what I'm saying also. One of my favorite plays was him blocking a db into the kicking net. He's a terrific zone beater, its just his ability to separate from coverage was a little concern. To be fair, in terms of accuracy( ball placement) his qbs didn't do him many favors. Maybe it'll show up for us, I'm hoping it shows up for us. I like his game, he's a glue guy.
  21. https://youtu.be/tvunGqDjzNw?feature=shared We've talked about the speed of Mosely here so I decided to go rewatch what he was able to do at Stanford. What I see is toughness, catch radius, sure hands, contested catch ability. What I don't see is burst, elusiveness, separation, or speed. Yes, I know Sark is a much better play designer and caller than whatever they have over there at Stanford. Nor am I looking for Worthy/Bond kind of speed, I just don't see the speed and quickness that has been used to describe him at times. That doesn't mean I don't think he'll be a player for us, because I do think there's a role for a player with his skillset. His tape just tempered my expectations is all.
  22. How is Olivia Miles looking. That young woman is a walking triple double, her handle and passing can be jaw dropping at times.
  23. It's early but I don't know what the Olympic team will look come four years from now. I have France winning it in both women and men. France can roll out a lineup of all 7 footers with Wemby at the point. The women team is crazy too with Gabby Williams, Malonga who is basically a female Wemby, and a couple other names I can't spell.
  24. One of the first knocks on Arch was he didn't play against the stiffest competition. Well... he didn't actually play with the best talent either. When your tight end is bigger than your tackles and guards, they're going to get beat and you still have to make something happen. Watch tape of Quinn at SLC, he was never under duress and because so he developed lazy habits and bad mechanics. The same can't be said of Arch, go back and watch Arch's first touchdown throw at Texas. It was at that moment I said, yeah he has "it".
  25. 😂 "hey issa run", yeap Ant has seen way too much of Sark's offense. That definitely explains the defense having the upper hand. That has to be the worst feeling in the world for a running back to hear the linebacker correctly call out the play pre-snap.
