I rewatching Red River and man I already miss Silas

My neice is a little 5 foot 13 year old that is extremely athletic. She cheers, tumbles, volleyball, and basketball, the problem is outside of gymnastics she'll never grow to be as good in those sports as her potential. I told her she should consider softball. Lol she replied, it's too slow. So this year as often as I could we watched every Texas softball game that time together allowed. Without me saying anything she noticed two... well three things. 1.) The pace speeds as the competition improves 2.) The women aren't Amazons🤣 3.) The girls are pretty and wear make-up while playing. After the Championship Game she said let's go to Academy. I got her her first glove and she loves Mia Scott. Now she's signed up to start playing and can't wait to play. I hope she sticks with it, because it's expensive and she could be really good at it. I owe it all to this magical year🤘🏿
