  1. At first it was going to be.
  2. Quinn's legacy is already cemented amongst Texas fans. He's going to be remembered for bringing Texas back to prominence and forgiven for not being able to get us over the hump.
  3. Former Texas Longhorn transfer DT is no longer at LSU 🤣 noooooo, LSU DT is no longer at LSU. Fixed it.
  4. What if my right one does and my left one doesnt 🤣
  5. Just the thread I needed. Posts like this save my liver, who needs alcohol when you can get pure joy for free!
  6. I don't remember multiple from last week, I do remember the most egregious one where I think it Endries coming open from left to right and he had two different windows to let it go but decided hitting Baxter on the checkdown was better.
  7. It's true when you say the pocket technique will continue to improve with comfort in the pocket, we have data to support that theory, with the 4th quarter of the OSU game being night and day from the 1st three. I read reports from Buckeye insiders that in order to get Sayin ready for Texas, they went live with him for a couple of practices. It's risky, but do you think that is something Sark would try? It worked, because Sayin never looked rattled, and managed the game well enough to win.
  8. But that's just it, or at least in my opinion, the game speed was much slower because of the competition and less complex defense. I'm not worried about his mechanics, he's a Manning, I think speeding up his processing will "fix" his mechanics.
  9. Lol it's an open discussion, football is my passion, I don't know more than anyone else but we all don't see it the same. The more opinions or people who engage in the conversation, the better. The reason I asked the mods, is because they talk to insiders or have seen a portion of practice. If we can see the issue, I'm sure Sark and staff can see it too. I wanted to know what are they doing to speed up his feet and eyes.
  10. So a lot was made about Arch's mechanics after game one, most of which I think is overblown. What I saw and continue to see is Arch seeing it late and letting it rip using upper body strength. Whereas with Quinn, who didn't have the arm strength of Arch would drop his eyes and take a sack. So my question is, how or what is Sark doing to confuse Arch so it helps him down the road? The reason I ask is maybe not so much with UGA who confuses blocking schemes more than they try to confuse qbs, Oklahoma will be able to replicate or mimic a lot of what Ohio State did. BV scheme won't include NFL principles or high level route matching, but it is complicated enough and always has a guy you never expected to be where you didn't expect him to be, to confuse Arch. A confused Arch is a rushed Arch and I'm not in a hurry to ever see that Arch again.
  11. While there are some flashing red lights, there is a section of the fanbase that drive themselves to the verge of a heart attack or stroke. They never take a step back and look at the whole college landscape. They seem to think that to win it all you have to be the best everywhere. As if Michigan didn't just win a couple of years ago without an NFL reciever on the roster.
  12. See how stupid all of these worries look after teo games🤣
  13. It's been 2 games and we only have 2 total sacks and Colin Simmons only had .5 sacks and is leading the country in penalties. Should we fire Baker and PK and who should we get to replace them. I'm pretty sure after that Oregon game, OSU DC will be free after the season.
  14. I wouldn't go so far as to say they whipped Boise. USF had a lot of explosives, and forced 3 turnovers. The score is lopsided, but total yardage in both rushing or passing are almost identical. The three turnovers were the difference. All in all Florida has the talent to win at least eight games I just don't think Texas will be one of them. 🤣 if I'm wrong and Florida wins I'm canceling my subscription. JK
  15. Being that this community and YouTube is as social as I'm ever going to get, this is one of if not my favorite daily post.
  16. It's more what USF did that we could replicate rather than who they lost to. Lagway just isn't seeing it and I know our defense will make him second guess what he's seeing. Offensively Sark better not run Arch like USF did, but we will be able to lean on them a little bit. The front line guys on the D-line are good, but after them there's a steep drop, be it due to youth or inexperience. We need Baxter to get about 15 tough carries to open things up for Wisner.
  17. OU doesn't worry me either. Sure they could beat us, but how good is their defense when you're lining 8-9 people in the box because you know Michigan refuses to try or unable to stretch the field vertically? Mateer is a bigger Pavia with a much better arm. However, he is a gambler and takes too many hits. One thing about qbs that takes a lot of hits is they become more and more inaccurate as the game goes. I see the OU game going three ways. Texas wins by two scores, Texas wins close, or OU wins close. Not sure where I am just yet, but I will definitely feel more or less confident after Florida.
  18. 8-4 might not do it depending how that 8-4 shakes out. I talk a lot a crap about Florida then I remember Mannings usually don't beat them🤣
  19. You're in timeout 🤣 go put your nose in a corner
  20. All of these guys are future officers and everyone knows the NCO is the backbone of the Army. HOAH!
  21. Just because Sark doesn't try to embarrass teams, it's hard seeing Texas cover. They do have a former 5 star, 2X Gatorade player of the year so he can make the throws. He won't have time tho, gonna be a long day for him.
  22. For anyone interested in forming an opinion of how we will be attacked or how we'll attack here is a condensed copy of UTEP-UT Martin. I'm familiar with the team with my nephew signed to next year's class. They aren't very good 🤫 don't tell him I said that. 🤣 or if you just want to watch to build a wall of worry that's fine too. https://youtu.be/vVgFFd3razk?feature=shared
  23. Arch didn't have these problems last year because obviously the receivers were better. There just isn't anyone outside of Parker who is making plays for him. Everyone likes to speak the buzzword mechanics, but nobody sees the plays where there's a guy draped on him and he gives his guy a chance to make a play and because the pass isn't perfect they drop it. Looking at you Butler and Wingo. With the gloves these guys wear it's literally supposed to be if it touches your hands you're supposed to catch it.
  24. He wouldn't work in Dallas. Jerry wouldn't give him control over the roster and draft picks like he would want. Plus his offense hasn't changed, its basically his Dad's scheme in a pass happy league. His offenses has been slowly becoming less productive.
