  1. Found it interesting that they rank ASU’s Sam Leavitt as the #1 QB (at #5 overall on the list) and his WR1 Jordyn Tyson as one of the best receivers (at #19 overall). I can believe that ranking much more than at least one of the other ‘experts’ who had Penn State’s Drew Allar as the top QB. Overall, this list of projected top 100 players was interesting and seems to have some good insight. Still hard to believe Georgia (2) and Ohio State (3) had such a small number of top players going into 2025.
  2. Surprised by how little respect Georgia is getting. Only 2 players (both on defense) made the list. Given the Bulldogs track record on the field, in recruiting and at the nfl draft, how could that be right? Florida with 6, Bama with 5, even South Carolina and A&M had 3 each. It was a bit surprising to see Ohio State only had 3 players make the list with two of those being arguably the best player on offense and defense.
  3. https://www.on3.com/news/top-100-players-in-college-football-for-the-2025-season/ https://www.on3.com/teams/texas-longhorns/news/seven-texas-players-land-in-on3s-top-100-players-in-college-football-for-the-2025-season-list/ Interesting 'Top 100 Players' list from On3. Ohio State has #1 and #3 players in the country with Jeremiah Smith and Caleb Downs. Texas has the most players in Top 100 of any team in the country with 7 plus we have 3 players in the Top 10. Interesting to see Florida with 6 players in the Top 100 and Georgia only has 2 players in Top 100. The times are changing. Excited for this season to get started. Hook Em!! 🤘🏼🧡🤘🏼🐂 Texas Players in the Top 100 No. 4: EDGE Colin Simmons No. 9: LB Anthony Hill Jr. No. 10: QB Arch Manning No. 43: CB Malik Muhammad No. 45: WR Ryan Wingo No. 90: OT Trevor Goosby No. 93: S Michael Taaffe
  4. I’ll go with #3 Flacco starts first 6 games then Picket starts 3 games. Sanders starts remaking of season and plays well enough to earn starting QB for second season.
  5. Joe Flacco at 6ft 6in makes Dillon Gabriel at 5ft 11in look more like the team kicker. Sanders and Pickett both listed at 6ft 2in. Sanders looks shorter than that. Not a Cleveland fan but will be interesting to see who is the starting QB for the Browns this fall.
  6. Fox also announced their new streaming app yesterday with all Fox Channels (named "FOX ONE"), including Sports, News, etc. For ESPN and Fox, these announcements come after the joint venture (VENU) between Fox, ESPN And Warner was scrapped due to anti-trust concerns. https://www.cnbc.com/2025/05/12/fox-one-streaming-service-launch.html
  7. It's been painful to watch the wheels fall off the bus over the past 2 weeks with our injury riddled pitching staff combined with our bats going silent. Can only imagine what our team is likely feeling, given everything they've accomplished during this first season in the SEC. Every team goes through slumps but the recent injury to Jared Spencer has the past two weeks feeling like our team is now exposed and vulnerable. at the absolute wrong time, headed into the post-season. Thinking about how down the team must feel, there is absolutely nothing more timely than the opportunity for the Horns to get the wheels back on the bus by rallying to bring their A-Game against OU this weekend in all phases of the game. How good will it feel if/when the Horns win the series against the Sooners and also win the SEC regular season at the same time this Sunday. The past two weekends will become a distant memory if we can get things on track against the Sooners. Let's Go Horns!!!! Hook Em!!🧡🐂🤘🏼
  8. Hopefully, they don’t screw this up. It’s a gift that we have an opportunity to build a dynasty with a few key moves to strengthen back court.
  9. Hope Quinn is able to sit, put on some needed muscle and develop into a starter over next couple years: Would be a great story
  10. Which part? Where UNC now denies they banned Jordan from facilities? Agree that’s fake news, lol. 😂
  11. Quinn Ewers has signed a four-year rookie contract with the Miami Dolphins valued at approximately $4.33 million. The deal includes a $131,576 signing bonus, which is the only guaranteed portion of the contract. The remainder of the contract is not guaranteed, meaning Ewers will need to earn his spot on the roster to secure the full value of the deal
  12. Ok, that’s funny. 😂🤣 Bill will need to update his 2025 autobiography where he referred to her as his ‘muse’ and ‘idea mill’, giving her credit for his success. Makes sense. Since they went public in 2023, Bill went 4-13 that football season and then he got fired. Now, she’s made him an embarrassment on national TV. Clearly she’s been a great inspiration.
  13. Now, I’m watching rowing championships at 815a on Mothers Day morning. Great, that’s the way to start the day so I remain in the doghouse. 😳😂🤪
  14. Love his energy and competitiveness. For clarity, Is Jonah injured again with pulled muscle? If so, seems concerning with repeated soft tissue injuries.
  15. Will be interesting to see this unfold and which scenario proves true…. 1) Bill turns things around, puts UNC into Top 25, builds the next level of his legacy as UNC makes the playoffs over the next 3-4 years OR 2) Bill struggles at the college level. Recruiting, player development, building a healthy culture that attracts and retains players, dealing with the portal and overall roster fragility. The team struggles under Belichick and he eventually gets replaced in a few years after it becomes clear this experiment failed miserably OR 3) Things keep spiraling out of control this summer and Bill walks away before his first season gets off the ground
  16. On June 1st, Bill’s buyout drops from $10m down to $1m. https://apple.news/AGn-44gFsRhmma5ofKgiYog
  17. What a mess at UNC. Latest rumors now ‘report’ Bill Belichick may resign before he even coaches a game, he’s so upset with how his reputation is being tarnished combined with his girlfriend being banned from campus. This whole situation with Belichick is crazy.😂😳 Mack Brown has to be loving all of this. The drama and complete debacle at North Carolina, things looking much worse now than when Mack was forced out at the end of the season Watching this story at UNC unfold reminds me how grateful I am that we have CDC, Kevin Eltife, Sark, and the rest of our coaches across all sports……no negative drama, just a group of elite leaders all aligned on winning national championships on the 40 acres. Hook em! 🧡🤘🏼🐂🏈 https://apple.news/AJXaSaIFdTPak36LxxZ7-Tw
  18. Agree and well said. I’d feel the same about Ohio State if it weren’t for the fact that the Buckeyes lost even more talent than the Horns on both sides of the ball and also have 2 new coordinators plus a new OL coach. That’s a lot of change in one spring for the Buckeyes. Home field certainly works in their favor but Sark has proven he knows how to win big games on the road early in the season. Hard to believe it’s less than 4 months till kickoff. I hope all preseason polls going into game 1 have Ohio State #1 and Texas at #2 or #3. This season could have the feel of 2005 if we beat Ohio State to start the year.
  19. Will be interesting to see what Sark does with the starting slot WR this season. Emmett Mosely was impressive in the slot as a freshman at Stanford. Precise route runner, excellent body control, strong hands, good ability to separate, became a legit weapon in the redzone during final 3 games against Cal, #19 Louisville and SJSU, averaging 110 yards per game and scored 5 TDs in those 3 games. Similar to Golden, he improved significantly as season wore on. Curious what @Bobby Burton @Gerry Hamiltonor others think. Will Mosely play primarily at slot and Deandre Moore move outside or vice versa? Moore struggled with consistency last season. In 6 of his final 7 games last year, Moore totaled 90 combined receiving yards and 1 TD for an average of 15 yards per game. The one solid performance during the second half of the season, he showed up big time in the SEC championship when Moore scored a TD and had 9 catches for 114yds. Other than that second Georgia game, Deandre didn’t do much since late Oct. We need better consistency if the offense is going to thrive.
  20. This would be a big boost to get Belyeu in time for SEC tourney. Get the rust knocked off in time to make a run in CWS. 🧡🤘🏼🐂
  21. We were due for this kind of lopsided score sooner or later. Can’t keep up the incredible 90% win rate, especially with the most recent injury to Spencer. I’d rather have this kind of blowout, save the arms for next two games and come out strong tomorrow night. Btw, why the Thursday start this weekend?
  22. Great point. TE flexibility and depth appears to be a real strength. Endries coming in the portal was HUGE!!!! Assuming our top 3 TEs this season will be Endries, Washington and Spencer, it’s awesome to think about how much the two freshman will contribute over time, especially come 2026.
