    I was worried that this weekend series would be 21 innings of baseball but glad to see the Spartans hanging in there. They used to be the USC Spartanburg Rifles but had a PC rebrand a la the Washington Bullets in the mid 2000's. I spent so much time on that campus for all my sports camps growing up.

    Spartanburg is my hometown, USC Upstate used to be the Rifles, but they are the second Green and White Spartans in the Disch. I heard some Furman Paladin hate from Gerry earlier.
