    I only watched half Arizona State vs Iowa State---but they were rolling on offense. Their QB and other WR`s played well in that game. Believe you are right about this helping us.

    Fan since 1955, my dad played at Texas but was called up to serve in Army once WW 2 broke out. My mom and siblings went to Texas and my brother played baseball for UT. Crazy part ,my dad's business after War was in Bryan-College Station during the Bear Bryant years. Hard start...but then Coach Royal came. My wife ask me how I get so worked up...the colors, the songs and traditions remind me of games cheering for our Longhorns with family.

    Thanks for update Gerry---it is tough being a fan today. Grateful for how well we are doing but hope I can handle next few weeks. 74 years old and looking for updates every 30 minutes. Crazy---thankful for Gerry being such a great resource

    Black and Norton had impact in their 9 snaps each. Black obviously, but Norton tipped a pass at line---think we intercepted and held strong at LOS. We finish with 4 mobile QBS and lot of read options. Counting on our terrific defensive staff to get correct players out there and have us ready.

    I think no Baxter has hurt us in passing game to RB's. GB has very good hands---think first play at Alabama threw him a swing pass. Our screens to RB's , which has been a strength under Shark...has not really clicked this year. I am not sure why

    Tony Bennett at UVA won 6 regular season ACC titles, at one point won 10 games in a row from UNC, held Pitt to 7 points in one half , won a National Championship and was 2x National Coach of the Year. When he was at Washington State for a few years he won at a school that has almost high school facilities. He got his teams there to a 3rd and 4th seed and was named National Coach of the Year , at WSU
