8 walks for the pitching and 13 K’s by our hitters, so Schloss was right that they are a work in progress. I like being able to get the win when you know you can play better. Like Schloss said we aren’t playing some random team from up North that still has snow on the ground………these we very quality teams and we come out 2-1 and could have easily been 3-0.

CDC hired the absolute right guy in Vic. A hardass that the players would run through a wall for, fans love him, and he fully embraces being a a huge brand like Texas. We need to give him a raise. Hate to spoil this awesome post, but I hope he can find a similar type of fix for the MBB.

Hell who is Vanderbilt’s coach? He has upset Tennessee and Kentucky. Alabama handled him pretty easily but Tennessee and Kentucky wins within a week is pretty impressive

Who CDC going to look at to come in next? I think we all know this is done. Jay Wright- at least make the phone call and have him decline. Bruce Pearl- most likely can’t get Nate Oakes- mostly likely can’t get Otzelberger- probably can make a serious run at him Todd Golden Florida- good young coach that has his team playing well in the SEC. I don’t know. I’m sure there are a bunch of names. Don’t say we can’t get a coach because Texas is not a basketball school. CDC has a brand new arena and will do what is necessary to make us competitive. Don’t say Texas fans won’t follow basketball. A guy comes in and wins…….the fans will come out. The good thing about changing coaches nowadays is it doesn’t kill your recruiting as bad for the first few years. A guy can come in and be aggressive in the portal and be competitive fairly soon. I’m not mad at Rodney and think he is a great guy, but looking at CDC’s track record since he’s been here, he’s going to make the move.

Idk who you get but I think CDC needs to blow it up and start over after the season. He has done very well bringing in coaches on other sports so we’ll see.

I am sure we’ll get another good president, but I sure don’t like change when we were starting to see the light after years of darkness. One bad choice can screw up alot of stuff.
