  1. We have more talent waiting in the wings than we did when we got those other guys as well. It’s definitely prudent to be as discerning as we appear to be right now.
  2. Don’t underestimate the value of retention. Knowledge of the system, especially at WR, is more important than bringing in the shiny new guy who can’t get on the same page as the QB.
  3. We should be the favorites, but if everything falls in place for Ohio state then that makes sense too. Oregon makes no sense unless Dante Moore’s hype is completely warranted after his dismal showing at UCLA.
  4. You think he's better based on what? Neto hasn't shown particularly well in the snaps he's had. His spring game was also less than ideal. I hope he turns the corner this offseason, but we wouldn't be going after this guy if we were confident about someone else being ready in the room next year.
  5. Goosby can keep Quinn as clean as Cam for the most part, but we need Cam to help road grade.
  6. Ohio State it is. Looks like we’ll be playing him next year anyway
  7. Ohio State could make sense here if he isn’t looking to go back to Florida. Would love to have him though.
  8. Clearly we're taking the "no one is giving us a shot" mentality in this one. Usually it's the faceless opponent, but now we're up against the boogeyman.
  9. I wouldn't call Moore fast, but he was rushing with more discipline than the others so he benefitted from Leavitt's greased up deaf guy impression a couple of times
  10. Noah Thomas is really good with proven production, even in a bad offense with questionable QBs
  11. He’s been money driven in the past, and there’s nothing wrong with that, but maybe it gives this rumor more reality than it would otherwise. Legacy at Texas would take a solid hit if he plays for another CFB team next year.
  12. Texas must prevent ASU from getting extra possessions. No onside kick nonsense, fake punts, 3rd/4th down penalties for a first down, etc. Get ASU down early and take away their ball control game plan. They’ll get desperate early.
  13. First of the 2025 year for sure. The first quarterfinal game of the season will be the Fiesta Bowl on NYE (PSU v BSU)
  14. Ohio State all day. We don't wanna have to matchup against those skill guys and Gabriel distributing and playmaking all over the place. Oregon is also better in the trenches than Clemson.
  15. Klubnik hasn't made throws like that all season. A few of those were absolute dots.
  16. IIRC, he was a converted HS wide receiver but still runs with solid physicality. Also has long speed. Good hands, pretty good in blitz pick up. If his medical info passes the tests, hopefully we’re interested.
  17. Yea, they redshirted him to give him a chance to play somewhere else and maybe grab some extra NIL before exhausting his eligibility.
  18. If he loses round 1, at home, he’s 100% gone. It’s just a matter of who they get to replace him, but losing to Michigan this year of all years has taken the rest of his goodwill away.
  19. Ohio State has a front that is comparable. Bama is close as well.
  20. Bert Auburn was predictably poor on the right hash. He is not our standard, reduce his NIL and see what we can do in the portal.
  21. He's not getting snaps at a position where we've even seen Aaron Bryant get garbage time snaps. The earlier he declares, the better he can maximize his options. This is what happens at programs that recruit and perform really well. Not all the high potential/high ranked guys are gonna pan out.
  22. It wasn’t gonna happen for him here. Hopefully the guy can find a home and get on the field somewhere like TCU, Baylor, or Tech.
  23. Which is kinda crazy considering he passed on his visit last week in favor of Missouri. Interesting recruitment either way
  24. No mention of Michigan or Missouri. Maybe he's looking to surprise people with someone who isn't even in his top 5.
  25. We passed on him last year, he’s not a take the second time around either.
