  1. Agreed on Neto. He may miss an assignment here or there for a while, but when he knows what he's supposed to do, he makes a greater impact than Conner. Similar to what we saw from Hutson to Campbell two years ago, except I think Hutson actually gets some push on contact before losing his balance.
  2. Survive the Washington OV without them establishing heavy momentum, then seal the deal on during his Texas OV 2 weeks later.
  3. Why not take a high rated WR and make him play CB? I used to be able to do that in Madden and they were always rated 99. We'd be unstoppable. On a more serious note, big guys who play OL usually just play DL if they have the athleticism/disposition for it. If there is ever a move, it is generally from DL to OL. Few are like A'Shawn Robinson who could have done both at a very high level. Look at a guy like Devin Coleman from '25 at Cedar Hill. Played DL and was good enough to get some attention, but once he moved to OL he started getting serious looks from programs like Texas.
  4. Trice was listed at 270+ during the season, wonder what happened. Those physical measurements are closer to what Trey Moore is
  5. It wouldn't be smart for players to give up their leverage by signing so early. It'll also be interesting to see which prospects top schools even allow to sign that early and how that impacts recruitments. Interesting development indeed.
  6. Is Trey Owens the rare QB/EDGE hybrid we’ve all been waiting for? Hopefully Trey Moore can play well enough to keep him off the field until he’s really ready.
  7. That's fine. I disagree, but you are entitled to your opinion. Having multiple guys worthy of multiple touches makes you less susceptible to injury and keeps guys fresher throughout the game/season. Can you imagine how big of a question mark the position might be if it was mostly Brooks all year last year? He went down and 2-3 RBs proceeded to have big games down the stretch.
  8. The number of high quality options in the room makes it a strength. The skill sets are pretty diverse as well. The only question in the room is short yardage, and that's one that is also impacted by who ends up winning the interior OL battle this offseason. My hope is that with such a stacked room, someone will really step their game up and naturally position themselves as the alpha dog.
  9. I'm at 10-2 if we get the same Quinn from last year. If teams can run on us more consistently this year, we will have a hard time going above that. The middle of the defense will pretty much determine our ceiling unless Quinn becomes a Heisman frontrunner with his consistent play.
  10. I dunno if it's just the jersey number, but I felt like I was watching the next AD Mitchell there.
  11. The truth is only an obstacle in the way of a narrative.
  12. This is exactly where I'm at. I also want to see how well he holds up against the run. Teams will use his burst on the edge against him if he isn't careful.
  13. Good, fluid athlete for his size and age. Frame looks like he could play TE or LB where his athleticism would really pop.
  14. So no Jonah Williams this weekend, seems like that one isn’t gonna happen. Elite group of visitors though, glad they could get so many of them on campus Saturday.
  15. Looking good. Great idea with the message board
