Yeah I over exaggerated a bit. I wish Schloss brought in more left handed pitchers that can spin the ball like he did at A&M and with Volantis. Outside of a few guys, we either have no control or no spin out of the bullpen.

Our offense has not been great in the sec outside of last night and game 1 vs OU lol. A&Ms lineup has continuously put up big games in the sec… their pitching let them down.

Top to bottom this lineup is below average. Having Borba, gumbo etc in the lineup is not good. Not blaming Schloss’s because we lost a couple of portal guys to the draft. But it still doesn’t compare to those all American type players. Furthermore they’re one year rentals unlike the other 3 at A&M were. A rod has been a disappointment due to injuries, yes. But if he can’t stay healthy then that’s that.

Schloss got guys like Jace, Grahovic and Sorrell to A&M… but nothing close to similar so far at Texas hitting wise

Bullpens are going to allow 3 runs on no hits? That should never happen at Texas. No excuses *in one inning

0 is good for an infield hit every now and then but that’s all

Bullpen is horrible and the bottom half of the lineup is horrid. Really needed more from the portal
