  1. It also sets people up for a lifetime. If you are offered a multi million dollar contract out of high school and another team doesn't match that even if it's your dream school, I wouldn't hold it against the player for taking the money. It's not necessarily my cup of tea but I get it. Maximize your value and worth in the recruiting process or bet on yourself and go to an established school as an underrated recruit and go make a name for yourself because you know you are better than guys ranked above you taking bigger bags home earlier. Texas is in the driver's seat imo.
  2. The trajectory to reach his full ceiling is occuring much faster with the development at Texas. Great points. I also think Arch Manning as a backup QB helped the development of our scout team defense for sure. Iron sharpens iron!
  3. Hoping they offer him a scholarship. Built like a bus but still has great wheels and speed. Great internal drive, consistent and reliable. Plus, a local product, easy commute for the family in Austin.
  4. Tony is the man, my favorite 79 for sure.
  5. Virginia lost a ton of talent to the transfer portal. I think Texas will pound them. I had actually hoped they looked at Isaac McNeely in the transfer portal but he quickly went to Louisville. Outstanding 3 point shooter something I hope Texas improves upon this season .
  6. Thank you Bobby and the OTF family for the donation to the Texas One Fund on behalf of Jack Lala. Very inspiring and awesome to see everyone come together.
  7. Some great number 80's... Another one who was more of a role player recently at tight end was Cade Brewer!
  8. Reminds me of Chris Sale. What a season congrats to Texas and Mr Volantis
  9. I didn't get to see him play but a great #82 for Texas was Corby Robertson. All-SWC defensive end in 1966 1967 All-American team at linebacker Team co-captain in 1968 when UT was SWC co-champion
  10. Any updates or insight on Matthew Caldwell's fit here at Texas?
  11. @Gerry Hamilton @Jeff Howe @CJ Vogel who do you guys think Texas is higher on between Derrek Cooper and Ezavier Crowell?
  12. That's why I followed you and Bobby here. By far the most accurate analysis in recruiting by a mile.
  13. #83 former walk on who Herman gave a scholarship WR Kai Money Money had the first touchdown by a Longhorn who joined the team as a walk-on since fullback Ahmard Hall caught a touchdown pass against Texas A&M in 2005
  14. Despite tonight's loss, Nijaree Canady is far from a waste of money.
  15. Have any walk ons stood out during Spring Ball? I know Colin Page got a little time last year when the RB room wore thin... Is Travis Shaw the front runner if healthy to take over the Bill Norton role?
  16. Any insight on how the following players have been doing? Spencer Shannon Ryan Niblett Daniel Cruz Derek Williams
  17. Who will be Texas red zone back in 2025? What tight end will lead the team in receiving TDS and how many? Who do you think will lead the team in punt returns? Who will lead Texas running backs in receptions? Will Arch have under 8 interceptions? Does Texas have a 1,000 yard RB and 1,000 yard receiver? Thank you
  18. Henrys tremendous at bat, hit and steal really got the party started in the 6th. Id have been very upset had Texas lost that game due to the obstruction call. Makes the win that much sweeter to be honest. Overcoming all obstacles and still finding a way to win.
  19. Punishing great baseball and rewarding bad baseball. The exact opposite of how it should be. To think they had the call right on the field and overturned it shows clear favoritism and bias.
  20. I saw the umps intent from the first inning. This is disgusting
  21. Great job Kavan nasty pitch for a strikeout and gets a ground out to end the frame.Let's get some runs ladies.
