  1. Gale Sayers cutting without losing an ounce of speed.
  2. Great live stream. Awesome to hear from Coach Erwin.
  3. It might be their papa roach call, the last resort.
  4. Do we expect a Nagy and son scenario? Drag in the son and blame him.
  5. Along with the pay cut he also gave up his office and is relegated to a small corner in the cellar. Apparently his camp is steadfast that he won out in negotiations with General manager Jim Nagy as he was able to maintain his tremendous stapler amidst the transition.
  6. Also had the most negative yardage rushing in nfl history if you combine his losses. Smith much better in red zone.
  7. Tom Brady was elite at this. Allow your playmakers to work their magic while keeping the defense honest. Only get greedy if you absolutely have to but more often than not you're in good down and distance. One of the reasons I prefer Emmitt Smith over Barry Sanders. Keep the ball, if you can hit a homerun, take it but if you keep working a mismatch and have a point guard on Tim Duncan in the post...drop it to Tim Duncan in the post. Win.
  8. For a guy with four screws in each knee, these products definitely help with pain relief and sleep. Highly recommend.
  9. They should probably add UMass to the conference to increase the competition level.
  10. He's been adding weight by watching OTF. He has oatmeal cream pies watching coffee and football each morning.
  11. Good trade for dallas imo. If you aren't going to pay him and make him the highest paid non QB in NFL history (I wouldn't have paid him that either), get a return on investment. Two firsts and Kenny Clark who is owed zero guaranteed money? Solid deal. Fans will be pissed due to personal attachment but that contract handcuffs a franchise in my opinion. At a smaller, more reasonable number he'd be worth keeping.
  12. Have some birthday beers with Bobby and a great time up there all Longhorns fans. Be safe and have a blast.
  13. That could be true but this was an egregious no call
  14. I had seen Texas had him on campus at one point. I expect him go be recruited like Gun Rivers. Pretty private but big hauls.
  15. Some of my favorite players came and will come from Ohio state. Eddie george, Terry glenn, Cris Carter. I'm a fan of football and its excellent Texas is formidable again. Ohio states consistency has been tremendous. I'm thankful both these teams want to clash and bang immediately. A lot to learn early.
  16. I hope Dave portnoy isn't in Orange. I hope I don't see Dave portnoy at all. Although I agree with him on a lot of things he is obnoxious and divisive. Texas is quite alright alright alright without his influence.
  17. I'm going over on Shipley. 21/25
  18. These numbers aren't derived from Vegas so my numbers could look stupid to some. However, just having a little pre-season fun would y'all take the over or the under on the topics listed below? Over/Under Tre Wisner rushing for 1000 yards this season? Over/Under Arch Manning combining for 40+ touchdowns rushing and passing? Over/Under Arch 400 rushing yards and 3,500 passing yards? Over/Under CJ Baxter 500 rushing yards? Over/Under Colin Simmons 14 sackles? Over/Under Ryan Wings 50 catches, 1000 yards, 8 touchdowns? Feel free to add more, interested to hear some fans and experts expectations on individual Texas players this season. 🤘
  19. I believe Goodbye will play barring a set back, Chatman is available and can play, hes just not at 100%. Chatmans hindrance has been close to the vest so I'm not sure what he is nursing. I'm waiting to hear If Mosley is ramping up this week, seems he had a lower body nagging injury. If Mosley can't go, I'd expect some more Daylon McCutcheon snaps. Kaliq Lockett may be a factor closer to the red area at WR if they have to spell Moore, Wingo or Livingstone.
  20. Haven't heard of anything new beyond Mosley, Goosby and Chatman. From previous camp reports still unsure of freshmen CB Kade Phillips and Safety Jonah Williams status' but wouldn't factor either true freshman into week 1's game plan even if fully a go.
  21. The Tyler Shough pick is still mindblowing. They would probably be best off starting Taysom Hill at this point.but you're absolutely right... They're on a two year tank plan and they might not even realize it yet. Could easily see them panic and overdraft Nuss next year if he performs well.
  22. Really hoping he makes the 53. If not he will go to practice squad if unclaimed. However, if he did get claimed I was thinking of teams he could potentially land with and compete for playing time. Its probably a long shot but Three teams that stand out as potential landing spots throughout the year where he could go in as a #2 and possibly compete for the #1 job in the case of an injury are 1. Saints (Ratter, Shough, Haener) 2. Jaguars (Lawrence, Nick Mullens, John Wolford) 3. Titans (Cam Ward, Brendan Allen, Trevor Siemian) Always rooting for Sam!
  23. Receivers know they will flourish and be on NFL radars immediately with Steve Sarkisian and Texas. Sark locks in his QBs early and builds talent around them. When was the last time Texas had a better recruiting class at WR than this freshman class with McCutcheon, Lockett, Ffrench, Terry III to go with tight ends Emaree Winston and Nick Townsend? If a receiver wants to compete for an sec title, playoffs and be in an offense for a coach who has led multiple Heisman trophy winners, Texas is the place to be.
  24. Poor coaching on both ends. On first down Hawai'i tried an end zone shot right sideline into double coverage before realizing they could run the ball, force Stanford to take their timeouts and kick the 3 leaving very little time remaining. For some reason Coach Reich held onto his time outs except for one to ice a kicker as the clock expired with the kick. No excuses for not using all of your resources.
