    Apparently Stanford was recruiting John Turntine to be their starting Quarterback. This has been pathetic. 18 passing attempts for 47 yards against Hawai'i. Stanford receivers haven't been helpful either but this program has fallen a long way. Andrew Luck has a lot of work ahead of him with HC Frank Reich. Safe to say Sam Houston States defense will be BBQ chicken for Texas offense.

    Alex January should be a major factor for Texas this season. Underrated recruit who played elite high school ball and came on strong last season.

    Runs like a poor mans Michael Bishop, throws like DJ plays the Ukelele. Anything in the pocket throwing off a 3, 5, or 7 step drop looks like a crane moving product. Robotic, forced, unnatural. If he throws on the run its seemingly much more instinctive like an athletic shortstop. Doesn't seem comfortable planting the back foot and driving the ball with accuracy. If he can't deliver a ball from the pocket on the money this year he's lucky to be in the big 12.

    I'm not sure but Vegas odds have Ryan Wingo at +300 anytime td which seems like great value. Arch was +150 and Lockett was +350 for reference. It may have changed but seems to be good value on underrated Ryan Wingo.

    Avery Johnson runs fluidly but throws like a slow robot. Add on top of it poor accuracy and timing thus far.

    I'm pacing myself to ramp up for the regular season. This is my pre season scrimmage 😂. For all Longhorns fans, Sam Ehlinger and the Broncos wrap up pre season as they're playing right now. He's hoping to secure a roster spot as QB3. If he drops to the practice squad he wont make his full 1.3 million salary.

    That's how I view the NFL these days although having more Longhorns in the pros now makes it somewhat bearable.

    When they interviewed Matt Campbell after the lost fumble on the goal line toss I was shocked he said it was a great play call and they just have to take care of the ball. After the K State edge rusher had two sacks the opening drive, he blitzed from the left edge untouched on a blown line assignment as Becht got rid of it to avoid a third consecutive loss. Both coordinators are trying to do too much with no fundamentals. Add on top of it absolutely terrible discipline and execution by the players.
