    This is amazing. As someone who is no longer tied to a high school (grew up in Houston) and wanting to know more about HS football I am excited. My understanding is both of the high schools in Wichita Falls are nothing to write about but I would love to learn whatever is available anyway.

    I know, 2025 hasn’t even started yet but we all know this is BV’s last season. With Carson Beck graduating what are the odds Mateer plays for Miami in 2026? Bring that up to your OU buddies and you are sure to get a favorable response.

    I got 8 very nice bar stools for the price of 4 because they double shipped them. They wanted me to pay to have them shipped back and I told them they would be waiting for them to pick them up and figure it out. Been a year and haven’t heard anything more.

    How does this sound for a futuristic dream season? Now, we are taking a huge leap as this assumes OU will become a good team again. Can you imagine beating OU in the Cotton Bowl, in the SEC championship and the National Championship in the same season? The OU fans base would be even more miserable than they are now. That would be beautiful.

    I was in the Air Force stationed in a remote part of Western Australia. It just so happened one of the few Americans there was a Bama fan and we watched the game together. I think it started about 8 a.m. I was shell shocked when Colt got hurt.

    I am well aware. I was punished with 11 years in Altus, Oklahoma during that time. It was only august of 2024 that I moved back to Texas. I put up with a lot of sh!t. 😂

    I want to maximize every f’ing window. This window in my eyes should be not treated any differently than a window 5-10 years down the street.

    Georgia didn’t suffer in recruiting the years they didn’t win the championship. Neither did Ohio state, Oregon, Michigan, Alabama or even freaking Saggies. Between the NIL and the SEC we will be good.

    It has been said over and over that we have this 2 year window with Arch. It is said in a way that makes it sound like Arch is our whole team and we won’t be as good after he graduates. My premises is that the way we are recruiting Arch is only one cog in the wheel and we will continue to be every bit as dangerous after he graduates. Texas will be a team to be reckoned with for a long time to come.

    Don’t get me wrong. I am excited for our boys and Arch to take the field. I also think we will have another successful year that could be so good that we take it all. Maybe we fall short again. My problem is I have seen the idea from some of the mods and many members of OTF that we have to go all in because Arch is our QB. I am not a fan of that mindset because I expect Texas to be a major player even after Arch leaves for the NFL. We have QBs lined up waiting for their chance who could be even better than Arch. This is not our last opportunity to win a title. Sark has built a F’ing monster and we will be a force for many years to come. You don’t believe that then go eat a corn dog with mayo. Believe, don’t doubt.
