Get! Your! Outs! On! Time! -
Duplantier tries to make an over-the-shoulder catch on Ford's fly ball. He drops it. The bases are loaded with no outs.
-
Two on, nobody out for Ford after Riojas walks Grimmer.
-
Wright's leadoff double is the 11th extra-base hit of the weekend for the Vols.
-
The Texas fans who've made the trip to Starkville were impressed with the way they were treated. That means something.

That's what happens when you play sloppy baseball. And it's been sloppy this weekend, to say the least.

M1: Texas 4, Tennessee 0

Gumbo flies out to the warning track in right, ending a four-run, two-hit inning for the Longhorns with one left on base.

Arkansas and Mississippi State, for sure. I like Blue Bell. South Carolina has a solid park. Alex Box is always up there (even though LSU fans will tell you that it's nice, but it doesn't compare to the old Box). Auburn's park is really nice.

Chandler Day is the new pitcher for the Vols. The lefty has a 7.36 ERA in just 7.1 innings of work.
-
That's it for Taylor Tracey. Texas chased the Tennessee starter after 0.2 innings.
-
Doza works a walk. Competitive at-bats to open the game by the Longhorns.
-
Casey Borba's solo jack to left field makes it a 4-0 lead for the Longhorns. Tremendous two-out rally in the first inning by Texas.
-
BOOM! A BOR-BOMB!
-
Rodriguez's three-run shot to right puts the Longhorns up early, 3-0. Hopefully, a 3-0 lead in the top of the first goes better than it did yesterday for Texas.
-
BOOM! AN A-BOMB! FOR A-ROD!
-
A-Rod's hand looks pretty gnarly, BTW. Last week was the first time I've seen it since he got the staple removed.
-
Becerra's two-out walk puts two on with two outs for A-Rod.
-
Pack draws a two-out walk.

Eight straight SEC games without a bye and the Aggies on a short week is no joke. That's a brutal schedule. Texas could be a much better team than it was last season and still go 9-3 (even though I think 10-2 or 11-1 is more likely).

FWIW, Kendall Rogers has Texas safety in Top 8 territory entering the day:
-
I hope Texas approaches this game like a loser’s bracket regional game. Lose today, and you’ve got to sweep Mizzou to likely avoid doing work in the SEC Tournament to get a national seed.

Electrolytes are important. They're what plants crave.
