    Oct. 2, 1993. My cousin, a UT grad, took me to my first Longhorn game. Texas beat a Rice team quarterbacked by Bert Emanuel, 55-38. Some guy in burnt orange named Anthony Holmes ran for 86 yards and two touchdowns (I wonder what happened to that guy?). I've been hooked ever since!
