A 5-4 fielder’s choice brings the top of the Auburn order back up with a runner on first and one out. -
Bunt single by Belyeu. Well-placed bunt. A slow roller on the grass. Ruger did his best to make a play, but he couldn't scoop it up and get it to first in time to beat the runner.

McCraine looks at a breaking ball to end the inning. Ruger settled down after allowing the two doubles to start things off, retiring the next three Auburn hitters he faced to get out of the inning with the Tigers stranding a runner in scoring position.
