  1. Grubbs retires the Bulldogs in order in the eighth. The Longhorns are three outs away from a series win.
  2. Grubbs opens the eighth by striking out Obee and cleanly fielding a rifle shot off the bat of Adams.
  3. Nobody liked a strike-three call on Stewart. Regardless, the inning ends after the Longhorns score five runs on two hits and leave one runner on base.
  4. Righty Jordan Stephens is the new pitcher for UGA. The sophomore transfer is 3-0 (two saves) with a 2.63 ERA. This is his 12th appearance of the season.
  5. Borba walks for the third time today and Radtke is done.
  6. CJ moving into the Yeti Yard changed the momentum.
  7. Gasparino getting to third was huge. Schuessler is retired in left field, but it's an RBI sacrifice fly. Texas is up 7-4 with two outs in the bottom of the seventh.
  8. After Galvan walks, Gasparino smokes a double to the gap in left-center. Flores and Galvan score with Galvan beating the relay throw. Gasparino goes to third on the throw after putting Texas on top for the first time today, 6-4.
  9. Flores was 7-for-42 in SEC play before that two-run double.
  10. Now UGA makes a pitching change. DJ Radtke is coming into the game. He's 4-0 (two saves) with a 1.62 ERA. This is his team-leading 13th appearance of the season.
  11. Flores comes through. He doubles over Obee's head in center field. Both runners score and the game is tied, 4-4.
  12. Mendoza's pop fly gets caught up in the wind and Jackson loses it. He drops it on the warning track. Texas has runners in scoring position for Flores and the Bulldogs will make a pitching change.
  13. Gumbo Duplantier is in the game to run for Winfield.
  14. Winfield draws a walk. Looked like was at least seeing the ball well on that AB.
  15. Grubbs works around a one-out single by Zaborowski to keep Georgia off the scoreboard in the top of the seventh. The Longhorns trail by two at stretch time, 4-2.
  16. McCarthy didn't get a good read on that fly ball by Stewart, but he runs it down for the third out of the inning. The Longhorns strand a runner in scoring position in the sixth.
