  1. Riojas is trying to work around a one-out single. The Spartans have a runner on second with two outs.
  2. The inning ends with Borba striking out looking.
  3. Jonah is leaning on the dugout railing after running out that ground ball.
  4. Tinney advances to second on a chopper to short by Jonah Williams.
  5. Tinney leads off the third with a single to center.
  6. Riojas strikes out Seymour to end the top of the third.
  7. Hitting the leadoff man comes back to bite Riojas. Van Ameyde scores from second on a ground ball back up the middle by McKay. It's a 2-1 game.
  8. Rodriguez flies out to center to end the inning. Two runs on one hit, one error and two left on for the Longhorns in the bottom of the second.
  9. Mendoza flies out to center. It's deep enough to score Larson from third. The runners hold at second and first, respectively. Two outs with two on for Rodriguez.
  10. Aidan Donovan is up to 39 pitches. He just got a mound visit before Mendoza's AB.
  11. Pack gets plunked. The bases are loaded with one out for Mendoza.
  12. Larson's single is being changed to an error on the first baseman.
  13. Borba gets caught in a pickle between third and home on a ground ball by Becerra. He's tagged out on a fielder's choice by Becerra with Larson and Becerra moving into scoring position.
  14. Larson smacks one through the right side of the infield. It's an RBI single with Jonah Williams coming home to put Texas on top, 1-0.
  15. It's now a RISP situation for Larson after a wild pitch.
  16. Infield single for Borba. The ball took a fortunate hop. Everybody is safe. Two on with nobody out for Larson.
  17. Full count to Jonah. He took a 2-1 pitch that looked like he immediately regretted taking.
  18. Jonah Williams leads off the bottom of the second for his first plate appearance of the season.
  19. Riojas retires the first two batters of the inning and then battles back from a 2-0 count with three straight fastballs to retire the side.
