I’m not panicking. I just think we’re ignoring a pretty obvious pattern with this offense. Texas and Sark have played a lot of clunky, inconsistent offensive football over the years, especially after big emotional games. Last night wasn’t some shocking outlier to me. It’s who they’ve been under Sark. We saw it against TCU. Georgia. Ohio State. And we saw it again against Ohio State last week for three quarters before finally waking up in the 4th. One good quarter doesn’t erase the other three. I’m not worried because Arch had a bad game. He’s human. I’m frustrated because Sark has had elite talent for years, and this offense still too often fails to play up to it when it matters. I think Texas will be fine. But let’s stop pretending last night came out of nowhere. This has been a pattern for a long time.

Those were the two that Flood and Sark identified and wanted most, two highest priorities. Woof

Arch 11.3 YPA vs Texas State. Still lower than Mensahs’.

You mean Mensah season average being 14.5 YPA and Arch being 7.8, those throws?

Arch was 20/27 against the vaunted Texas State defense, the same defense that just gave up 31 points to a UTSA team. If Mensah were putting up those numbers in an orange uniform, there wouldn’t be any mention of the competition. You can’t dismiss the numbers simply because you don’t like the uniform.

So sark fired his DC, blaming him for his offenses short comings. He’s got a 5 star QB that’s been under his tutelage for four years and the offense mustered all of 3 points in the half and has looked like a compete wreck. At what point do folks actually start holding him accountable?

Why don’t Georgia’s players make mistakes? Ohio states? Alabamas all those years? It’s coaching and having your players prepared to execute. Saban drills on this literally every time he talks. It’s not a coincidence Sarks teams are one of highest penalized teams in college football and his players make mistakes.
