So there’s obviously been a change of thinking within the Texas brass of paying players that will contribute right away vs developing and paying freshmen. This is clearly year 1 of that change with a great freshmen class coming in. Everyone needs to simmer a bit especially WR wise. Coleman will be a luxury and what would feel like a Christmas bonus but it’s not the end of the world. WR’s was the worst it’s been since Sark’s got here separation wise and now we’ll have more speed and twitch with these young get dudes. Losing Parker isn’t a big deal at all other than Arch gets a new roommate lol.

Dude wasn’t a top 5 QB in the conference alone and thought he should be getting paid so. Once Sampson went out vs Ohio State that game was over. The entire offense revolved around Sampson and you can easily see why. Tennessee won this 100%. The boxing guy should stick to just that!:)

This is such a stupid statement. In no way is Nico’s production on the field worth anywhere near what him and his buddies are asking. He is not a premium player at all. He’s basically a carton of milk with 2 days left to drink it to your point…. If I have the best milk with a shelf stable life on it that I know I can sell at a higher rate is one thing, but Nico certainly isn’t that.

Last year he threw 19 TD. 11 came vs Chattanooga, UTEP and Vanderbilt. 4 of 9 in SEC play came vs Vandy. This dude deserves to be told to take a hike.

And a lot of people on here have the AUDACITY to say everything is all fine and dandy in college sports. FOH

Like I said don’t just limit it to going to the NBA. How about all the legends retiring because of where the sport was headed at the time? It’s not a dumb complaint at all, like I said it’s the same as free agency starting before the postseason in the nfl/nba. Why would that make any sense at all? Because it doesn’t and it’s ridiculous. and the argument of “why should we care” because it’s not us, is terrible.

It’s tied into college football as well because they’re in the same boat and it’s the same point.

Don’t just limit it to that, how many college football coaches are leaving as well? Or retiring?
